To be annoyed that DH is letting another person use software for free

AIBU to ask DH to stop allowing another person to access software we use in my and DH's joint business? We've paid for the software so the woman is getting a financial benefit by DH letting her use it for free. The benefit is only a couple of hundred pounds over the course of a year but it's not like she's poor. She has more money than us!

@Phoenix121 I’d raise hell too but only if he didn’t have a reasonable explanation - I.e thinking of person as a potential client . Obviously if it had been a long time and no extra business had materialised I’d call BS

@stayathomer yeah, so easy to cause offence in loads of things 😂 but also lots of people thinking that not doing something nice is unreasonable. Businesses that need to be more careful than the average user

@KrisAkabusi im really showing myself up here as someone who needs to check details before they post as it wasnt Adobe either it was Maya. I obviously don't retain DHs work chat well(either that or my menopausal memory lapses are worse than I thought). You are right, scammers do try this sort of thing so care is needed but we took all necessary steps to verify it.

Although I'd make a terrible witness in court, my point about being careful about paying attention to user agreement terms and conditions and way of lending licenses still stands I think.

In glad it was legit, but an an expensive mistake!
