Had this conversation with my husband and kids a while ago... Can't remember their answers but do remember their shock when I said sweetcorn as apparently according to my husband it doesn't count, it's an addition or filler.
So my favourite 3 vegatables (in no order) are
Leeks
Sweetcorn
Broccoli
What's everyone else's and do they agree that sweetcorn /peas are 'fillers'?

OP posts:

Pointed peppers
Raw carrots
Peas

GrouchyKiwi · 21/04/2021 22:44

Potatoes are a vegetable and that is my hill I will die on.

SO

Potatoes
Asparagus
Purple beans (because they turn green when you cook them and yes, I am a child who enjoys magic in my food)

yikesanotherbooboo · 21/04/2021 22:50

Asparagus
Broad beans
Cabbage

BarryTheChopper · 21/04/2021 22:50

Tough choice but I think I’ll go for:
Mushrooms
Tenderstem Broccoli
Spinach

Laufeythejust · 21/04/2021 22:53

Asparagus
Broccoli
Onion
I would add sweetcorn but it’s not quite up there as it always needs another veg with it.

Minnie747 · 21/04/2021 23:00

Sweet pots
Broccoli
Cavolo nero

Charm23 · 21/04/2021 23:05

I'm actually struggling to think which are my faves as I enjoy a lot of veg but I suppose I'll go for:

Mushrooms
Cabbage
Sweetcorn

KurtWilde · 21/04/2021 23:06

Cauliflower
Savoy cabbage
Peas

ErrolTheDragon · 21/04/2021 23:08

At the moment my favourites are fine green beans, tender stem broccoli and roasted red peppers.

GlutenFreeGingerCake · 21/04/2021 23:09

Butternut squash, leeks, mushrooms - runner up is peas

lovablequalities · 21/04/2021 23:09

Tomato
Aubergine
Garlic

The only veg I'm not fond of is those wee mini corn things. Dusty and pointless.

I'd easily give up meat but never give up veg.

Isthatabat · 21/04/2021 23:10

Cauliflower
Parsnip
Sweetcorn (on cob)

Sooobooored · 21/04/2021 23:11

Cauliflower
Parsnip
Sprouts

Howmanysleepsnow · 21/04/2021 23:13

Mushroom, cauliflower, rocket.
Followed by asparagus, pak Choi, aubergine and broccoli

Geranibum · 21/04/2021 23:14

Aubergine
Mushrooms
Spinach

Oh wait...
Squash
Asparagus
Cauliflower

Oh wait....
Peas
Sweet potatoes
Tomatoes...

I LOVE VEG!

therocinante · 21/04/2021 23:14

Carrots, peas, sweetcorn.

If sweetcorn doesn't count then I'll sub tenderstem broccoli in.

DramaAlpaca · 21/04/2021 23:14

Carrots
Broccoli
Cauliflower

DustyMaiden · 21/04/2021 23:15

Onions, carrots and parsnips together with rosemary.

NeverDropYourMoonCup · 21/04/2021 23:17

That's an impossible question to answer - how can you be expected to choose just three when vegetables are all amazing in their individual ways?

I can't reject Jerusalem Artichokes in favour of chargrilled ones with an olive oil and lemon dressing, nor can I insult the humble carrot, parsnip, beetroot and pea by saying they aren't as special as asparagus dipped into boiled eggs with little crunchy flakes of sea salt or piping hot barbecued corn with chilli butter or the warmth of kale or spring onion stirred through mashed potato and hot, salty edamame in perfectly steamed rice or cold with a soy/chilli/yuzu dressing.

The only vegetable I've eaten and not thought 'this is amazing!' has been baby corn.

So you are completely unreasonable.
