I want your honest opinion as I fear I might be being greedy..
I bought a pack of sea bass. You get 2 fillets in a pack. Now, I would say that is for 1 person?!

Someone I work with says it should be 1 fillet per person.
There are 109cal in 1 fillet. That's not enough for an adult for dinner is it?!
I shall be serving with either salad or possibly a bit of roasted veg if that helps.
Hmm

Oh ffs.

Two three quarter inch pieces of cake. Not two quarter inch pieces.

I am a knob, not autocorrect for a change

You could bulk out the one fillet with some dust?

CarnationCat · 12/04/2021 20:05

Sounds like small pieces of fish so yes, I would definitely eat both especially if I wasn't having any carbs with it.

Maybe I would have one if I was having it with potatoes.

Maybe your colleague is buying bigger portions from the fishmonger? If fishmongers still exist Grin

I would do one per person...that is, one complete fish (of sea bass size) per person! I think last time I did a sea bass, I baked it with sliced fennel and lemon and a bit of butter. STILL fit easily in my diet. And whole fish are likely cheaper per portion than buying fillets!
