I want something really yummy, but simple and easy to make

Had nachos and choc mousse last week, easy and delicious

What should I have/are you having?

Sorry cook for 20 mins on high.

Baked camembert with some red onion chutney and crusty bread

No takeaways, got to cut back, have Uber eats but need to quit with that too

Is cheese and biscuits/baguettes a meal 🤷🏻‍♀️I’m thinking that easy/lazy but tastier

No idea what the squirrel thing is.
I'm throwing together a veg chilli with a variety of beans and veg in the cupboards. Have a bag of tortilla chips - job's a good un!

We’ve got Arabica mezze waiting in the fridge and I can’t wait.

Whatever you decide on, make sure you throw it on the floor, then scoop it up and serve it. Oh and add a button for extra effect.

We’re having pasta pesto with garlic bread and tricolour salad, mmm

French bread pizza. Cheese and baguette but you can pretend it is takeaway.

I’m having Pancetta, Tomato and Ricotta pasta.

Just chucking Pancetta, tinned chopped tomatoes, ricotta and spinach into cooked tagliatelle with a little pasta water and double cream. I’d add some red wine for extra flavour but I’m pregnant and don’t get to enjoy the good things in life 😭

Take your shirt off, look through the bin, eat smelly fish in the shed or squirt cream in your mouth.

I see eleventymillion others got in before me with ‘a lovely bit of squirrel’ 😂😂

Of course cheese and biscuits or baguette is a meal. Or you could do some garlic prawns to go with your baguette.

Takes about 5 minutes and so easy it barely counts as cooking. We always have prawns in the freezer for such an occasion. In fact, seeing as I have an M&S paella, allioli, calamari, prawns, ciabatta and San Miguel, cava and G&Ts I'm declaring it tapas night here

We can only get McDs, KFC, chain coffee shops and a selection of cheap and nasty kebab/pizza/burger/chicken joints on Uber Eats here so never use them.

Why not go for the mumsnet classic of a MASSIVE salad with crusty bread, spread with lashings of REAL BUTTER?

No good if you have a passel of 6ft 2 rugby player sons though...
