To order takeaway two nights in a row?!

Terrible decision maker here... AIBU if I order takeaway from a local pub tonight? We had an Indian last night... I'm a single parent to three kids, this last week I've had two hospital appointments, worked every day, done all the childcare around that, and have a physical disability, with one DC with ALN. Oh and I have a fractured wrist. I'm exhausted. It's going to cost about £45... money isn't really an issue but I feel guilty as. I've packed on the weight over this last lockdown. So AIBU or would you go for it?

You do not have to justify the cost nor reason
Enjoy it!
Now I will be craving a Chinese meal.

Two nights in a row..... no way. Bang out of order.

🤣🤣😂😂😂, joking totally would absolutely. I had mcds for lunch, Big Mac and large fries, and ate kids fries and I am only now feeling not so full 🤣😂. Realistically that’s like two takeaways in one day!! 😬🤣🤣

Workinghardeveryday · 27/03/2021 20:03

FYI, ate kids left overs they didn’t touch (didn’t steal kids lunch lol)

We do this every week! Papa johns every Friday without fail then we vary a Saturday, just having Nando’s right now. As long as it’s not going to leave you short of money for essentials go for it!

Milliepossum · 27/03/2021 20:08

OP you deserve an easier time especially with a fractured wrist. Hope you keep ordering until you feel better - nothing wrong with doing this at all.

@30scrisis
That looks delicious.

weegiemum · 27/03/2021 20:23

We bought enough Indian last night that we're eating it tonight too! On purpose!

I view it outsourcing labour not being lazy. And yes there's a cost to it but if you can afford it?

Hardly like you can go out for a meal right now.

Veryverycalmnow · 27/03/2021 20:45

We're on night two of takeaways tonight. Pizza last night, curry tonight. Wouldn't normally but was time to treat ourselves.

We had a takeaway this evening for the first time in months. God it was disappointing. The wine I bought to go with it was great though Grin
