Mine are :-

Kellogg’s Rise and Shine, a very strange powdered juice drink that we had on special occasions’ instead of actual juice.

Vesta ready meals, particularly the Chow Mein which had crispy noodles on top.

Toast Toppers - weird sludge resembling baby food.

I absolutely LOVED Garbage Pail stickers!
Was it Sticky Vicky? Or Sicky Vicky?!
They were brilliant smile

If you ever visited Benidorm, I think Sticky Vicky was somebody else entirely Grin

@spied, you can still get Meanies crisps in Ireland. They've got a really strong pickled onion flavour, I love them.

Ooh, yes, to Findus crispy pancakes. There's now Bird's Eye versions on the go, but they all have mozzarella. No thanks, I want my crispy pancakes old school. Chicken, bacon and sweetcorn in a gloopy white sauce coated in very orange breadcrumbs Wink.

Any one remember 'Chef Square shaped soup shows how a good soup should be' advert?
It was soup powder in a box

DaisyandIvy · 26/03/2021 20:16

Anyone recollect small brightly coloured plastic fruit shaped bottles, screw on lid, contained sweet powder?

Loving this thread!

JohnMcCainsDeathStare · 26/03/2021 20:21

I remember Panda Pops - a feature of rural pubs and corner shops that didn't have mainstream drinks like Coca Cola - they were so fizzy and sharp and did make you thirstier than before.

OhWhyNot · 26/03/2021 20:23

lockdownalli · 26/03/2021 20:31

I remember these sweets. I think they might have been Smarties but they had green chocolate in them and a picture on each one.

Kelpie78 · 26/03/2021 20:41

@TheOldRazzleDazzle

I think the fudge lollies were called pzazz or something similar. They were fine.

DaisyandIvy · 26/03/2021 20:42

@OhWhyNot

That's them!
GrandTheftWalrus · 26/03/2021 20:51

My mum used to buy a bottle of panda pop lemonade to put her vodka into to sneak it into Blackpool Tower when I was wee and we were on holiday.

Boboparadise · 26/03/2021 21:00

@TheHelpfulHiker

Oh yes I remember Fiendish Feet and Toast Toppers with their vomit like texture. I'll add sandwich spread (equally vomit like), paste sandwiches and our family weekend tea of ham, cheese and pineapple on toast. Also, does anyone remember Looney Toons crisps? They had pictures of the characters on the actual crisps (unless I dreamt it, no-one else seems to remember this from the 90s)
images.app.goo.gl/ogiEm7Sx6iczSmpm7. Here's your crisps. I loved them
dawnc27 · 26/03/2021 21:11

Has anyone mentioned Country Store ? It was a type of muslie, but really thick and tasty a bowl would fill you up all day ,I haven't had it since around 1984 and can't find it when I Google

MummyJ12 · 26/03/2021 21:19

OhWhyNot · 26/03/2021 21:20

Ecci · 26/03/2021 21:25

Frozen concentrated orange juice, had to be defrosted (no microwaves then) in hot water, then diluted in cold water. Seemed really posh.
Brawn - pigs head (free from the butchers) boiled up and deboned and mushed up.
Carlins, I think this might be a North East thing. Brown dried peas, soaked overnight, eaten only at Easter, I never found out why!

x2boys · 26/03/2021 21:26

Wow £14.95 it was good but I'm not sure it's worth nearly £15 😳

malificent7 · 26/03/2021 21:28

You can get butterscotch angel delight fake in lidl...it's devine!
