Hi All,

NC in case outing.

In my opinion it was completely reasonable. Everyone I know thought so apart from a few people who didn't but they are mistaken for various reasons I can't get into at the moment (outing). One of these people was person A who is the SIL of my BIL's friend person B (legitimate breeder, no puppy farms), and it wasn't the first time that this had happened to person C, unrelated. Maybe I should just LTB.

I felt that the exclusion was about a personality clash and the teacher has got it in for DS. He is a sweet boy despite being boistrous and a bit of a livewire (NT, but diagnoses welcome). But to be clear they have been parking there every single day at drop off. Engines running. And it's not ever their hedge.

If you think IABU I can add in a few more posts later about my MIL, finances, and a diagram done with a biro that nearly doesn't work.

For clarity we earn £100,000 each and can afford it.

Quentin Rupert is fine for everyday but you need to put proper names on the birth certificate so they can use them if they need a sensible name when they're older. Quentinius Rupertian is really distinguished in case he wants to be a judge or a CEO.

HaveYouSeenMySerotonin · 15/03/2021 18:16

Why did you have a child with this man?

LAgeDeRaisin · 15/03/2021 18:51

All I'm saying is that anyone who eats more than 1 sausage in sausage and mash is obese and in denial.

SooMoony · 15/03/2021 18:59

Interesting first post, OP.

Yapplepearora · 15/03/2021 19:05

Disgusting to have an entire DC when the planet is in such a state.

Just have half a DC instead.

Amrapaali · 15/03/2021 19:06

You look 67. Maybe high strength retinols and llama oils at night for the wrinkles.

OP was I close? come back and confirm your age.

WaltzForDebbie · 15/03/2021 19:07

Is this a reverse?

ilikebungalows · 15/03/2021 19:14

I'm sorry Op but I don't understand why you think that people you have never met should put £10 each in for a present for your 3rd cousin's ndn .Especially as you have previously posted that it was that ndn that put up the hedge in the first place just to upset your donkey.

BamboozledandBefuddled · 15/03/2021 19:14

1 sausage EACH?!?! I can feed eight people with one sausage and a teaspoon of mash!! No wonder the supermarkets are standing room only if people are eating a whole sausage EACH!!
Sacreblue · 15/03/2021 19:17

But where is the yurt in all of this? Outwith the hedge or in with the mash?

I have little to no imagination - can you make a short video, Brian from Hull could oblige if you lend him your chipolata.

DuckyMcDuck · 15/03/2021 19:20

Unmumsnetty hugs.

SooMoony · 15/03/2021 19:23

U ok hun?

purplecorkheart · 15/03/2021 19:24

You eat sausage? You know that is rat tails and chicken fat. You should be ashamed. Will someone think of the children!

Chocolateandamaretto · 15/03/2021 19:27

But if you eat mash with sausage and mash that is too many carbs.

If your MIL doesn’t like you leaving the mash she probably has dementia.

wizzler · 15/03/2021 19:30

I would. Ever pay that much for a cake, even one with a donkey on each slice. Will no one think of the poor child who has an aversion to donkeys?

ThatOtherPoster · 15/03/2021 19:47

You can’t self-ID as a donkey. This is so unfair to animals who were actually born with hooves.

DomingoinLittleOakley · 15/03/2021 19:58

Have you had a mug of sweet tea yet? Or are you still full from that sausage?

(Personally I would never touch mash because carbs are evil, but I would never voice that to a stranger, because not everyone has the advantage of a good education.)

SooMoony · 15/03/2021 20:02

Do you think you may be NT? Perhaps talking therapy will help.

BonnieDundee · 15/03/2021 20:03

I'm beginning to wonder if the donkey is a bit of an attention seeker? Salt & vinegar crisps indeed Shock

Yapplepearora · 15/03/2021 20:05

@SooMoony I think you’ll find every woman who is even a degree away from being the perfect social norm has Asperger’s syndrome.

LaceyBetty · 15/03/2021 20:45

Google is your friend OP.

Legoninjago1 · 15/03/2021 21:22

Can you just clarify that you DO wash your legs in the shower? Otherwise all this advice is all well and good, but ...

InPraiseOfBacchus · 15/03/2021 21:53

Hi OP, personally I'm childfree and I don't have any kids myself, but I'm here anyway for some indecipherable reason!

Fearnecuptea · 15/03/2021 22:01

@Whatisthisfuckery

I can prove that each and every PP on this thread is wrong because my personal experience has been different, and you can’t argue with my lived experience. What is more I demand that you validate my feelings about any and all issues without question, because any other response is not being kind, and being kind is more important than anything, even the truth, science, the law, the fact that gravity exists, the earth is some kind of sphere and everything else.

I’m deeply offended that some of you are rolling your eyes as you read this post, and I’m even more offended that some MNers won’t even bother to read it, probably because they’re bigots who can’t accept any sort of difference whatsoever. Now I’m going to flounce as I’m feeling utterly erased and like you literally want me dead. You need to educate yourselves and do better.

This is a quite frankly, a brilliantly accutate comment 😂
wizzler · 15/03/2021 22:17

I think that selling fatballs from a table in your driveway and labelling them street food was never going to end well in a pandemic.
