Sarah protest vs BLM protest

AIBU to wonder why I have read no negativity about groups forming and becoming violent for the Sarah/claim back the streets protests, yet the BLM and fighting racism protests attracted heavy amounts of criticism and tbh hatred?

Even the Kate Middleton joined in with this protest... But no support was shown (if i remember correctly) about BLM protests from her?

@Mittens030869 You said (in pointing out how the vigil/protests are non comparable) Sarah was brutally murdered despite doing nothing to deserve it. That would imply the black people who died at the hands of police did deserve it.

Also, whilst the protest was catalysed by the murder of George Floyd, it was about how black lives, in general, appear to not matter. A black person is murdered by police with little justice brought. You equating it to being about criminals smacks of racism.

I really do apologise if I made it sound as if I believed George Floyd and other black people deserved what happened. Of course not! Even if there was reason for the police to arrest him, he should have been cautioned or charged and dealt with through the courts.

That was a police operation, though. In Sarah’s case, if the suspect is guilty, it was as an individual man not a police officer, as he wasn’t on duty.

The BLM movement is hugely problematic and was uncritically followed by many in the hysteria following the brutal murder of Floyd.
It seems to me that the similarities between Floyd’s murder and that of Everard is that they have both been cynically politicised.
