I'm feeling a bit bored of cornflakes and I think I should try something different this week so, what is/was your favourite cereal? I like the mini weetabix but I haven't had them in a while.

OP posts:

My all time favourite cereal was Ricicles but these days it's Frosties.

Cereal has to be sugary for me & I am gutted that Sugar Puffs are now shite Wheat Puffs.

Tal45 · 08/03/2021 18:29

I love a huge bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes but they have so much sugar in that I haven't had them in years. I have porridge with cinnamon and ginger instead.

PotaytoCrisps · 08/03/2021 18:34

YABU OP because I really thought about the answer and remembered a cereal I used to buy called Start and I went to add to shopping list and it has been discontinued!

I don't eat cereal very often, I have to be in the mood for it, then eat the same one for a week, then can't touch it again for a while.

I eat Special K or Weetabix or bran flakes or coco pops.
The most disgusting thing is cereal with warm milk, still traumatised by warm soggy cornflakes when my flatmate heated my milk. Envy Not envy.

SummaLuvin · 08/03/2021 18:40

Grape nuts. Weetabix. Ready brek. Golden Grahams.

CharlotteWeb · 08/03/2021 18:52

Captain Crunch.

Doihavetogotoworkdotcom1 · 08/03/2021 18:53

I like Oatabix with oat milk.

BadEyeBri · 08/03/2021 18:54

Crunchy nut

Trinacham · 08/03/2021 18:58

Crunchy Nut Chocolate Clusters

Rarely have it as I try to be good though!

ignatiusjreilly · 08/03/2021 19:11

Weetos

DontGoIntoTheLongGrass · 08/03/2021 19:13

Ricicles!! I loved them but they don't make them anymore. I have Cheerios or Krave chocolate.

Jennyennidots · 08/03/2021 19:13

Optivita is lovely but I struggle to find it!

Emeraldshamrock · 08/03/2021 19:16

Crunchy nut or fruit granola, honey cheerios are good too. I like sweet food.

MotherWol · 08/03/2021 19:19

For everyday/less sugary options, I like Cheerios, Fruit & Fibre or Special K Red Berries. Best sweet cereal is either Curiously Cinnamon or M&S do an apple & cinnamon cluster type one with yogurt pieces that's so good I hide it from the rest of the house. Not to be confused with the Apple & Cinnamon flake one they also do, which is not nearly as good.

tupperwaretowers · 08/03/2021 19:20

Special K (more often than not Sainsbury’s own) with sliced banana, strawberries or any fruit really.

tradition · 08/03/2021 19:23

@LouiseTrees

Raisin wheats
The only cereal I'll eat is Raisin Wheats but not the cheaper own brand kind
itsasin77 · 08/03/2021 19:33

Mine used to be the caramel crunchy nut clusters. But I haven’t seen them anywhere in yonks!
Anyone spotted them anywhere??

itsasin77 · 08/03/2021 19:35

Oh and my DH has his cereal with warmed up milk. Just utterly vile!
Makes my stomach churn when he eats it 🤮

WaitingForNormality · 08/03/2021 19:42

Coco pops 😂 But I realise at 32 that's a bit immature so I settle begrudgingly to porridge most days!

Onedropbeat · 08/03/2021 19:44

Lucky charms

Zebra100 · 08/03/2021 19:44

Shredded wheat with hot milk or cornflakes with single cream and sugar.

TheVolturi · 08/03/2021 19:46

Asda fruit and nut museli. Its absolutely packed with fruit and nuts, I love it. Can't eat it in a rush though, it takes some serious chewing!

PurpleFlower1983 · 08/03/2021 19:49

Weetabix, I do also love Crunchy Nut Cornflakes but they’re full of sugar so I’ve cut them out.

berryhead2013 · 08/03/2021 19:51

No addded sugar Alpen left to go a bit mushy with a chopped banana in it

halfmoonbay · 08/03/2021 20:05

All Bran - what's not to like?
