[quote ItsSnowJokes]I'm not a massive fan of Morgan, but he was actually commenting on a scientist who suggested that joggers should wear masks.

I don't like taking advice from people on how to do sport when the person themselves isn't that good at the sport.
So I had a look for "Trish Greenhalgh" and variations of that name, on Power of Ten (which results all running times for reasonably proficient runners in the UK). Theres no mention of her. So I know that she doesn't run at the level I do and I don't therefore wish to take advice on how to run from her.
(Prof Greenhalgh, in the article states ""I've got a mask here and you can pull it up and pull it down and that takes two seconds to do."
"So wear it when you're going along, jogging on the high street. Take it off when you get to the parks, what I did this morning. It's not difficult."
Now, I'm not a scientist, but I am a lawyer, and I'm really concerned about this continual erosion of human rights. There should be a presumption against their erosion, not a culture of "I think this is a good idea" from yet another self-publicising scientist.
And actually, Professor Greenhalgh, it is difficult if you are running at any speed and not "jogging" as you call it. Its really difficult for asthmatics like me to breathe through masks.
And to be honest, by the time you've pulled that mask up and down on your sweaty face (because your face does get sweaty when you exert yourself wearing a mask), you're going to be spraying germs in all directions from the very act of doing so, rather than just quickly going past as you might normally do.
