to wish Dh had NOT left a huge, great, bloody obvious lovebite on my neck...

It looks awful
I am wearing the most ridiculous big scarf today.
To be fair, dh was mortified this morning when I showed him. But not as mortified as me...

Makes me feel slightly less 'filthy'

polo neck jumper

i woke up on sat morning with a bruise on my neck, which looks very much like a love bite, except i know noone had been doing that to me

make up just wore off and so i ended up wearing a polo neck

i was horrified at the thought that anyone could mistake it for a lovebite

ImaburningHEIFERgy · 05/11/2007 13:01

we aren't having a go, don't feel bad... but must make sure that your DH never does it again!.. tis not a good look for anyone - let alone anyone over 18..

wearingascarf · 05/11/2007 13:04

actually, I probably look better with a lovebite than with a polo neck jumper

lol

Wait til he is asleep and give him a huge great big one on the back of his neck, that will get more people talking than yours

FrannyandZooey · 05/11/2007 13:18

I wore a polo neck and a bad scarf AND a trowel load of foundation

nothing would have hidden this one

I have another love bite story - after my first term at university I was going back for the Christmas holidays to see my family and my boyfriend. I had to appear with a simply enormous love bite (there was more bite than neck to be honest) and concoct some lame story about having been jumped on by a strange man in a disco

preggersagain · 05/11/2007 13:26

ahh lovebites

do you not feed the poor man?? i can't think of a reason why a grown man would possibly feel the need! we have a friend of the family in her mid/late 40's who regularly turns up sporting a purple patch (or two) on her neck- she thinks it normal

I generally thought that love bites where 'badges of honour' for 15 year olds.

toothpaste
rimmel cover up
walk with neck cricked to one side
bring hair forward to front of neck
polo neck, dont actually move neck though as people may get a peek.
