It looks awful
I am wearing the most ridiculous big scarf today.
To be fair, dh was mortified this morning when I showed him. But not as mortified as me...

Wearingascarf · 05/11/2007 11:41

I'm too old for trendy!

You should be grateful...

Wearingascarf · 05/11/2007 11:46

grateful??

oh, do you mean because i am so desireable and sexy he was overcome with passion?

Just why does it have to be so obvious...

ChipPYROMANIACminton · 05/11/2007 11:47

lovebite? Are you both 13?

Wearingascarf · 05/11/2007 11:49

exactly chippyminton, exactly...

Grateful????

Love bites are grim. And largely the mating habit of teenagers. I remember wearing them with pride as a 14yr old.

Nice that he was overcome with desire I suppose ..

ChipPYROMANIACminton · 05/11/2007 11:55

wait till he's asleep tonight and exact your revenge. I am guessing he will not look so good in a scarf

I thought you gave up lovebites when you were old enough to access more ...ehem..interesting areas.

Wearingascarf · 05/11/2007 11:56

How long do they take to go? (So old, i can't remember...)

OP posts:
Wearingascarf · 05/11/2007 11:57

'twas during the course of, well, you know!

OP posts:
OrmIrian · 05/11/2007 11:57

Agree chippy.

Like sh*gging in the back of cars. 'Twas only ever neccessity not choice. You might look back on it with nostalgia but trying to recreate the situation is a mistake.

Wearingascarf · 05/11/2007 11:59

hey, listen! We weren't trying to recreate anything...merely procreate

ImaburningHEIFERgy · 05/11/2007 12:01

what was your DH thinking...

Tell him to bite the pillow if he must bit something..

I didn't even have them when I was 15, would be mortified if I had one now..

Double application of foundation and face powder I think is needed wearingascarf and a good kick up the arse for your DH...

MaryBleedinPopPopBANGins · 05/11/2007 12:03

Put toothpaste on it - it helps it to fade quicker.

Don't ask me why but it works.

MaryBleedinPopPopBANGins · 05/11/2007 12:04

Ah...it takes me back.

ChipPYROMANIACminton · 05/11/2007 12:04

ormirian - i have a humungous mumsy estate car, i could comfortably put the back seat down and do the deed, but, as you say, why would I when i have my own humungous double bed!

dd666 · 05/11/2007 12:06

lmao it means we know what youve been up to!
my mom once told my sister toothpaste worked to help get rid faster never had one myself, suppose e was very considerate you wouldnt have got away with roll neck jumper or scarf if it were summer

Wearingascarf · 05/11/2007 12:08

I can't believe I had to change my name for this!

Oh how funny

I had this happen one time, unfortunately when I was due to go and give a talk in a secondary school the next day. I can't imagine anything worse than standing up in front of a load of teenagers with a great big badly disguised love bite

OrmIrian · 05/11/2007 12:57

So do I chippy. But by the time you've moved the surf boards, footballs, assorted wellies and general cack from the back and wrestled with the catch to put the seat down, you have usually lost the will to live let alone sh*g! Have to confess that we did 'christen' the car about a year ago - DH's idea. Cold, uncomfortable and nerve-wracking. Never again!

wearingascarf · 05/11/2007 12:57

cos foundation isn't even coming close to disguising it. It's making it look even more noticeable.

MMJ - I must be naive - or just nor very experienced at lovebites. So much, urm, other 'action' was going on, I really didn't realise he was doing this. I really don't think he knew he was doing it either.

Look, I was very ugly in my very early teens, I didn't really do the whole love bite thing. That's my I'm so embarassed at this now. Crikey, I don't even change my name on sex threads usually
