Skin tag removal - any recommendations?

Posted for traffic, I don't actually have an AIBU?

Has anyone has any success with any skintag removal product on the market? I'm 47, peri menopausal and these little bastards are popping up under my arms, on my neck and in my groin. The NHS won't do anything as they are considered cosmetic despite being very painful where the skin rubs them, especially in the warmer months.

I can't afford to go private Sad

My GP told me to tie cotton tightly round and they fall off. It works and doesn't really hurt.

I know you said you can't afford private treatment but I had mine removed privately by a dermatologist and it only cost about £100. He froze mine off. Didn't hurt at the time but skin felt tight for a few days afterwards. My friend went there too and he cut a few big ones off for her (same price).
