Converse are classic.

oakleaffy · 22/02/2021 10:34
@oakleaffy No, not in U.K., free delivery, couldn’t bear any extra on top
Go for it then. Lucky you not being in UK!

RaisinforBeing · 22/02/2021 10:39

The Air & Grace trainers look a bit like the Goose ones but less scuffed. I haven’t worn the A&G trainers but I have their sandals and they are insanely comfortable, proper granny shoes levels of comfort, I worn mine all last summer. I am tempted to try their trainers. They are pricey but not as bad as Goose and they have an eBay outlet .

user1471462428 · 22/02/2021 10:41

If you want them then buy them.
They do look like something a perv would buy from EBay to wank over thoughConfused

HeyDemonsItsYaGirl · 22/02/2021 10:43

Never heard of either of them so I Googled. The Vejas are nice but I can smell the Golden Goose ones just by looking at them, and it isn't pleasant. Grin

VinterKvinna · 22/02/2021 10:44

you know its not April 1st... £400 on... shitty looking trainers?

Re comfy shoes at ''Granny shoes levels of comfort''...
Sketchers! Was snooty about the synthetic materials, but bought some in a sale...They are so comfy.

Walking on soft carpet feeling. Not stylish though.

Trainerdilemma · 22/02/2021 10:46

The über grubby ones remind me of those over the top anti heroin ads of the 1990's.

Or are they both a bit wanky?
Fedoos · 22/02/2021 10:53

I bought some Vejas a few months ago. I've worn them once - so uncomfortable. I thought they'd perhaps be OK once they were worn in a it but I haven't been able to bring myself to put them on my feet again since!

CattyCactus · 22/02/2021 10:55

That’s a good discount and I like the ones you’ve posted.
But the main thing is, if you like them go for it.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 22/02/2021 10:57

Those Golden goose trainers just prove that people with more money than sense will buy anything if it's in fashion.

And now I'm getting targeted ads😂

Or are they both a bit wanky?
Trainerdilemma · 22/02/2021 11:14

@Whatsnewpussyhat Next week you’ll have a grubby, dirty, with glitter all over pair on 🤣

I love the look of the Vejas I bought but they are so uncomfortable. Went back to Adidas Gazelles!

PrtScn · 22/02/2021 11:17

Just get some plimsolls and save yourself some money. They both look wanky to me.

rillette · 22/02/2021 11:19

Yes - the all black Skechers you can get in Sports Direct are the universal ultra comfy retail work shoe. When I worked in a bookshop a few of us all had the exact same pair! I always spot them on waitresses etc too.

Did that look 20 years ago. Trainers were £20 and the dirt was free then though. Grin

Bluesheep8 · 22/02/2021 11:23

@oakleaffy

Cross post...... We both used the word ''Reek''

Grin yep, reek is the only word for them. Either that or pong Grin

Hoppinggreen · 22/02/2021 11:24

Vejas aren’t comfy at all
I have some and I can hardly wear them

Ponoka7 · 22/02/2021 11:26

If you were standing about in Liverpool wearing them, people would give you food and money, so they do pay for themselves, I suppose.

Mildmanneredmum · 22/02/2021 11:30

Sole Bliss. Comfy trainers for -older women- bunions

Mildmanneredmum · 22/02/2021 11:31

Hmm strikethrough fail!

OP at least the ones you posted aren't so bad... But I just can't get my head around buying shoes / clothes that look like they've been worn already.

The ones posted up thread though 🤮 they literally look like the shoes of a local drunk I used to know. I feel like I can smell them just looking at them.

Mind I can remember being a teen when the ripped jeans 1st came round & I thought why would I pay for something I can do myself by climbing a fence! 😂

I have some "distressed" gazelles do you think I could sell them on ebay?
