Out of boredom/interest...

I realised that in work I change my shoes AT LEAST 10 times per day.

What do you do as a part of your day/job that others might find odd or wouldn't realise?

For around 3 years now I've been studying mortuary science at home. Between online, books and dvds. Really want to work in that field and was meant to start the ball rolling last year but Covid fecked that up Hmm people find it odd but I'm totally fascinated

MintyMabel · 21/02/2021 14:13

Spend millions of pounds of other people’s money.

clipcloptrop · 21/02/2021 14:14

I'm a microbiologist in a pharmaceutical company...I work in clean rooms and labs hence the shoe changing.

Not me but I once knew a man who had to assume different identities depending on the task at hand and no he wasn't an M15/6 agent.

blacksax · 21/02/2021 14:18

I occasionally drive around with nuclear submarine parts in my car.

Are you my Mother ?
m0therofdragons · 21/02/2021 14:40

I spend lots of my day on social media and watching videos.

An IT guy walked by my desk and winked at me promising he wouldn’t tell my boss... I told him he was welcome to tell my boss and commented that I assume he doesn’t know any job role.

Hoppinggreen · 21/02/2021 14:47

I talk about drugs

SlatternIsMyMiddleName · 21/02/2021 14:47

I talk about when you die. I am quite blasé about it in private, but respectful in public.

LittleTiger007 · 21/02/2021 14:54

I get lost in a book... that I’m writing. Writing about 1000 words a day, then pouring over those words improving them for the next few days.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 21/02/2021 14:54

@clipcloptrop. I'm glad you clarified. I was about to ask you if you were Imelda Marcos :)

Rumbled. Sorry dear but you know I only have your best interests at heart. Come on now, just one more spoon of boiled cabbage.

What do you do? You can't work in a school, I'm told you can't get glue sticks for love nor money.
dippyduck1 · 21/02/2021 15:28

Phone organisations and ask them to please take money (this is money they have applied for and been awarded at the beginning of the financial year and they still haven't claimed) 😒

ToffeeNotCoffee · 21/02/2021 15:39

I put people's saliva up their nose. With their consent.

laplage · 21/02/2021 15:44

In a previous job I occasionally had to take our skeleton model (full size, plastic) from his usual place to another place. By car with his seat belt on. Got some odd looks from other drivers
