The worst bit is that it’s women having a pop at other women.

It’s usually the men who age badly and let themselves go in my experience. I mean they lose their hair, thats more image changing than the things that happen to women. So many podgy, bald middle aged men who think they can pull any 20 year old, it’s gross.

I think the reason it often happens after children is nothing to do with the woman - a lot of men basically find child-rearing a bit dull and full of chores, (sub)consciously think of it as women's work, and find someone single and flirty much more interesting than the day-to-day of family life. Pretty sure it would happen with the same frequency no matter how 'put together' their partner looked...

Although she is just being goady for clicks, I have met women who think like this.

They're hardly a source of envy. Most of them embrace a very artificial type of beauty that I have no wish to emulate. Most of them endlessly need validation for their looks. Most of them attract ugly toerag men who only value them for looks then cheat anyway. Most of them don't have much intelligence or sense of humour.

I sit here with no make up on, 20lbs or so I could lose and my legs like the amazon rainforest and think, yup, I would not trade a single thing about myself to be a tiny bit like them.
