Cat pooing in neighbours garden

So my ndn stopped my partner yesterday and mentioned that our cats are pooing in their garden a lot. When he told me I was a bit Hmm because I'm not sure what she expects me to do? I've said to my partner we'll buy some sort of cat deterrent she can put in her garden but other than that I'm not sure what I can do. My cats (2) are outdoor cats and I won't be keeping them in as they love to be out. I keep a clean litter tray for them, which they do use but no doubt they will be pooping outside too as cats do.
We don't have the only cats on the estate so potentially it's not just mine pooing in it (I assume she's seen them rather than just deciding it must be mine).
Aibu to do nothing but provide cat deteerant?

Absolutely love it Suzi!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 - Brilliant!!!! - Why on earth should WE keep having excrement in our gardens over and over and over again!!! - THEIR excrement, that WE have to pick up!!!! and get rid of, because THEY cannot control THEIR pet!! - THEY have decided to have a cat!!!! - NOT US!!! -THEIR decision!! - So THEY need to come up with a solution - NOT US!!!, or not have a cat! - Simple!! - Trouble is, they could not give a flying fig that our gardens are getting covered in their cat's excrement! - THAT is the problem!!! - Absolutely enraging!!!!
Well done Suzi!!! 👍👍👍❤❤❤.

Two neighbourhood cats think my garden is their territory, try to catch the birds round the feeder and would steal the hedgehog food until I made the feeding stations into Fort Knox. If I see them I fix them with a steely glare, which they don't like, then I do an ungainly run down the garden which sees them off. I suppose I get some exercise from it.

Yanvvvvu to let your pet poo in your next door garden. We moved in the end to get away from our neighbours cat. My dd was playing and getting cat poo on her in our tiny garden .we were the only one with grass in the road. Yes it was cat poo as saw him doing it. Was hell
