To ask you what shoe size you are and what Converse size you buy?

Hiya. Just a bit of help.

I'm a size 6 shoe in all sorts of styles. I'm completely confuddled about what size Converse to buy online. It says they come up large, yet the cm length of my foot is too long for a size 6. If you wear Converse can you please tell me your usual shoe size, plus your Converse one?

I've got wide feet so think I'll buy a 6.5.

I'm buying direct from Converse.com/uk and I just can't be bothered to wait for the shops to open to try them out first.

@nyala the only problem with going with the cm chart is that I come up as a size 8 and Converse say their shoes come up big... I have never been bigger than a 6. That said, I bought some canvas pumps from Fatface in about April and their size 6 was small and I should have bought a 7, but I was online 🙄

I’m a 5 abs but size 5 converse. I can wriggle into 4.5s but can’t walk long distances in them. They run accurate to size.

I'm a size 4, size 3 in child Converse.

I'm a 7 / 7.5 and buy size 7s but it always takes a few wears to break them in and get them comfortable to walk and distance in.

I usually put in a gel insole as well.

I buy my size for the low ones, but one up for the high model

5 and 5. DS in child sizes just gets his regular size as well.

I’m a 6 and I’ve bought a 6 in the past but they are too narrow for me so I long ago gave up on them. I have wide feet and like to be comfortable.

It’s the width you need to consider more.

I’m a 6 but have wide feet so wear a 7 in converse. My partner wears the same size as normal as she has standard width feet.

If you have narrow feet then you can usually buy smaller. If you have wider feet they will come up small.

I'm a 6 and always buy a 6 in the usual style and also the 70s version (which are infinitely more comfortable). I live in converse and have never veered from a 6. I had read before buying the 70s that they came up huge and to size down, but they didn't have the size down left in the Black Friday deal I was looking at so bit the bullet and got 6 and I'm glad I did because they fit perfectly!
I don't have wide or narrow feet.

I am a 5 in absolutely every shoe style I've ever had, including Converse.

I'm a narrow footed but longer size 5 (size 6s are generally too big) and size 5.5 Converse fit me perfectly.

I’m size 6 and always get my Converse in a 6, and they fit perfectly.

Vans and Adidas I wear a 5.5

I'm 6.5 but even if I go up to a 7 they are still too narrow for my toes - and I haven't even got particularly wide feet. I used to cram my feet in them as a teenager but haven't worn them for years.

Is it giving you US sizes OP? A UK 6 is a US 8 I think.

I'm a 10 and bought an 11 once was too big. The 10 was too small. Only time I had a perfect fit was when they did a metallic range, was a different material to the canvas and I bought a 10 in Gunmetal and they were my favourite pair of shoes. Am devastated that they discontinued them, as I've never been able to wear a pair of theirs since.

I am a 4 and have to buy a 5 but I have very wide feet and I wish they did a wide fit as 5s are very long on me.

I'm a 5 and buy a 5. They are narrow but I do have narrow feet so it's ok.
However..... I find converse take AGES to break in. They're literally foot bleedingly painful to start with. Then they're ok. If I bought a bigger size they'd flap about after a while, but fuck me they hurt when new.
