Nothing grabs my attention any more , no good juciy contraversal threads, no fighting , no deleting , no good old fashioned debates . Is it me or what ?

Well. you could always pick one of the oldies... P&T parking perhaps? lol.

Cantbearsed · 01/11/2007 07:09

Well thats just it , alot of the 'oldies' keep coming up , seen it done over and over again. Not putting down anyone that starts a thread like that but I have nothing new to contribute to it .

Um how about 'AIBU to think that people who drink skimmed milk are deranged?'.

Cantbearsed · 01/11/2007 08:07

How very dare you ! I have just had my shreddies with skimmed milk !!!

I dont know people making judgements on what people eat , what is MN coming to.

What does it matter if I drink skimmed milk , next thing you be saying that giving my children fruit shoots is unhealthy- its fruit one a day etc etc

aibu to want to carry on eating bacon, ham, and big fat sausages?

manchita · 01/11/2007 10:11

But everything's up for judgement when you're a mum. Your children's behaviour, children's names, your appearance, your house, your husbands job, having chilli con carne and crisps for beakfast like i just did after dropping dd off at school. ooops shouldn't have mentioned that should i?

Lazarou · 01/11/2007 10:23

No shame in chili con carne for breakfast, i sometimes have leftover pizza, and once i had a baked potato with cheese and coleslaw. Crazy days!

MrsArchieTheInventor · 01/11/2007 10:25

But crisps are made out of potatoes and thus constitute a portion of veg. Just like a meal of fish, chips and mushy peas with tomato ketchup, all washed down with a glass of vimto counts for 4 out of the five portions of fruit or veg a day, so if you finish that meal off with a bag of crips you're laughing, even more so if the flavour of the crisps also has vegetables in it like beef and onion, spring onion etc.

LoveAngel · 01/11/2007 10:26

I long for the days when I was called a thieving child abuser for admitting to letting my child eat unpaid for grapes in the supermarket. Folk used to be so much more feisty on MN

Lazarou · 01/11/2007 10:28

Grapes! Pah! My one year old swiped a choccy bar in the boots the other day. it wasn't til we were halfway up the road he started waving it around. To the victor go the spoils, ha ha!

LilRedWG · 01/11/2007 10:30

Agree it's been a bit boring, but has also been quite bitchy - no debates, just rows Problem is - I'm still addicted to the damned site!

MrsArchieTheInventor · 01/11/2007 10:30

DS once nabbed a box of Boursin from Sainsburys that I'd given him to hold and completely forgot about! I only realised what had happened when it came to putting him in his car seat!

MrsArchieTheInventor · 01/11/2007 10:31

Just had a thought, wonder if it would work with a bottle of Jack Daniels...

pollywollydooooooooodle · 01/11/2007 10:32

dd has a purple face and likes wearing cornish pasty style shoes...are these a side effect of fruit shoots and greggs sausage rolls?

pollywollydooooooooodle · 01/11/2007 10:33

lol lazarou

manchita · 01/11/2007 10:35

You are all theiving child abusers! is that better?

MrsArchieTheInventor · 01/11/2007 10:37

Oi!! Who are you calling a thieving child abuser?! Right, you and me, outside, now!

talulasmum · 01/11/2007 10:43

i love pot noodles. and so do my kids.

you dont really live any longer if you eat really boring food. it just feels like it.

manchita · 01/11/2007 10:54

pollywollydooooooooodle · 01/11/2007 11:19
