AIBU to LOVE this silk shirt?

Would love some thoughts on this shirt - I’m picturing it with top few buttons undone, worn with skinny jeans and heeled ankle boots for when we can actually go out of an evening again!

Never ask for fashion advice on Mumsnet, the taste levels here are very, very strange. Remember, people on this website really liked a 1950s style dress with pencils on it.

Personally, I really don't but you should wear whatever you like.

I'm not keen on the pattern but silk is a lovely fabric. Be aware of the laundry problems with silk - I once bought a blouse was 'easy care' - it certainly wasn't. 'Iron while damp' really meant 'iron while really quite wet or you'll never get the creases out' which was a right faff. Even with a delicate wash the seams weakened and its useful life was shortened. But if you love it go for it and enjoy it whilst appreciating that it is like a highly strung best friend - it needs care.
