AIBU to LOVE this silk shirt?

Would love some thoughts on this shirt - I’m picturing it with top few buttons undone, worn with skinny jeans and heeled ankle boots for when we can actually go out of an evening again!

YABU - No, I’d rather wear a bin bag
YANBU - It’s weird, in a good way

I actually like it.

But when I envision it looking amazing on someone, that someone is skinny and super understated in every other way.

Sorry OP, I really don’t have a very strong opinion on the shirt. As I said earlier, I have no sense of style, but some of the comments on this thread have really cracked me up. Thank you witty MNers for making me smile.

You’d get a much nicer vintage one for £30. I like to your styling idea though, that would look great.

I've just asked my 20 year old son if he knew what is or was Sgt Pepper. He rolled his eyes ( as they do) and named tracks.
No need to feel old because people don't know about popular culture or can't Google.

I like the colour combinations but the way they're a weird combo of colour blocking and pattern looks a bit unbalanced.

I wouldn't wear it purely because I look ill in yellow.

The way you've said of styling it, and being young and slim, you'll totally nail this! I sat go for it, I'd really admire it on someone who'd styled it well.

I have a gorgeous - IMO - pair of shoes languishing unworn because of ONE negative opinion "oooh, not keen on those..." comment. I shouldn't have listened, I loved them and they made me happy.

If the other photo is of you, you have an amazing figure and will really suit the shirt with skinnies!

It’s a bit Noel Fielding.

I think it’s funky and if well dressed and accessorised, would look ace. Noel Fielding should get one and you should go out together, both wearing skinny jeans, Cuban heels and big fedoras.
