Hey all. My wonderful mum died from Covid yesterday. I'm thankful that her passing was peaceful and that my brother and I were allowed in to say goodbye beforehand. She had advanced dementia so her death is sad for us, but a blessed release for her. She was 98 and had truly lived a life full of joy and kindness. And she's with our dad now.
I'll be less visible in here for awhile as we do all that needs to be done. The pandemic is truly buggering up the normalities of deaths and burials here.
There are so many other families going through this. And many won't be able to say goodbye or don't have the blessing of knowing their loved one was truly ready to go. Doofus has a lot to answer for. If not on this world then the next.
