Well not at the moment because of covid.
Do you think it would be weird for me and my ds aged 20 to go on holiday together. Honest opinions pls.
He isnt a mommy's boy or anything and has plenty mates and goes on holiday with them etc.
There is just one trip me and him fancy doing.

Not at all weird.

Idroppedthescrewinthetuna · 20/01/2021 22:41

No! Do it!!!

LizFlowers · 20/01/2021 22:42

Not weird at all!

Robbybobtail · 20/01/2021 22:43

No!

MyNameForToday1980 · 20/01/2021 22:44

Totally fine.

Lindy2 · 20/01/2021 22:44

No it's not odd at all.

I think it would be a lovely thing to do. Is it somewhere special you want to go? (I'm in isolation and dreaming about holidays in the future is helping me get through this).

Whatwouldscullydo · 20/01/2021 22:45

Nothing weird at all about going on holiday with your son.

And who cares anyway. No ones business but yours.Smile

june2007 · 20/01/2021 22:47

Think your odd to think it,s odd.

LagneyandCasey · 20/01/2021 22:47

Not weird at all. Did you see the second series of Race Across the World? There was a mother/son team on there and they had a great time together!

Bluesrunthegame · 20/01/2021 22:48

It's not odd, go for it, have a wonderful time!

Merryoldgoat · 20/01/2021 22:48

Sounds lovely!

Boysarebackintown · 20/01/2021 22:51

My friend went travelling pre Covid for 6 weeks in Asia with both her early 20s sons - they had a brilliant time, nothing weird about it at all.

feellikeanun · 20/01/2021 22:53

I think it's lovely.

StillCoughingandLaughing · 20/01/2021 22:54

If you both want to go, why not? Pushing him to go with you at 20 when he didn’t want to would be weird, but if it’s just a case of ‘Will people think it’s strange?’, who cares?

Zoeyclash · 20/01/2021 22:56

I think it would be lovely. I hope when my sons are 20 that they would still like to go on holidays with me!

thepeopleversuswork · 20/01/2021 22:57

Not in the slightest. Surprised you have to ask tbh.

Do it and enjoy it (when its safe to).

Cam2020 · 20/01/2021 22:57

Not odd at all! It's lovely that you both want to spend some, quality time together.

AnnaSW1 · 20/01/2021 22:58

Nope

Sparklesocks · 20/01/2021 23:02

I think it’s nice

whereisthejoy · 20/01/2021 23:02

Amazing idea. Enjoy!

Girlyracer · 20/01/2021 23:06

If he asked the question to his friends, they might say it's odd. It's whoever is asking the question to whom.

Odd, means unusual. I don't know any 20 year old lads who have gone on holiday with only their Mam. Honest answer.

JaceLancs · 20/01/2021 23:14

Not at all weird
I have DS 27 and DD 29
I have been on holiday with both of them together - each on their own - family holidays with me n them n their partners
I like to go on holiday! Who comes depends on type of holiday n destination
DD loves a sunshine holiday but her DP hates them so they do city breaks etc n for sun no sea she comes away with me
My DP hates sunshine - so I go on holidays with him to other destinations or out of season

LazyName · 20/01/2021 23:15

No that seems sweet Smile

Itsnotlikethiswithotherpeople · 20/01/2021 23:18

Not remotely odd

sadeyedladyofthelowlandsea · 20/01/2021 23:19

I think it sounds lovely, and something that I'd hope to do with DS in a few years time. If he wants to travel with you, then why not?
