Last time I’m going to engage. I WATCHED him on TV make that comment about his daughter - it wasn’t a blooming cheese dream!

I’m all for balanced discussion, but you have a style of posting that is slightly antagonistic - not the best way to try to challenge views.

Has anyone seen the video on Twitter of Barry off EastEnders singing at the inauguration? I was a bit late joining - got there just in time for Kamala's swearing in. I was baffled how this could've occurred & not been mentioned on these threads! 😂 I do often have to cross-reference things because I'll basically believe anything I read/watch!

One of my first ever TV memories was being sat down to watch Nixon Resign because it was important I watched today because it was important
I said to DS this morning we are going to watch Trump leave and get the new President Biden. He was excited as first until he got bored. But he was told 'it was important'.

Just like when Tim Peak went into space. And the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI. And when we left the EU.

It was important.

It is important to give a shit if nothing else.

I hope he gets it when he's older and doesn't think his mum is just plain bonkers or boring.

Watched the inauguration today feeling patriotic and proud and I'm not even American in the slightest Grin
Such a feeling of hope, and inclusivity, and kind of healing?
Felt like the grown ups had entered the building!
Especially as Trump hadn't even bothered to turn up, talk about sulking.
Can we now have this feeling for the UK soon? (Please)

Plus, you can always save some of your posts to show him how informative his mum was, even if he didn’t realise it at the time!

I've often hypothesised to dh that Barron was the hostage that kept Melania with Trump during the Presidency.

As in, "If you leave, I'll make sure you never see your son again. And you know that I have the power and money to make that happen." Shock

He's no longer got the power and soon he might not have the money. Grin

The officer who led rioters away from the Senate escorted Kamala to the ceremony!! as has been previously posted has been promoted to Senate Sergeant at Arms (gave me a lovely Vimes moment) and is to receive a Congressional Gold Medal (for "distinguished achievements and contributions" to the USA.) Yay!!

Now I think I'm ready for a namechangeSmile

What time does it start? Was going to go to bed but I want to see it (I know I'll be knackered when I have to get up in the morning and tell the kids to get their butts out of bed for their massive commute to their laptop in the morning lol but hey ho)
