I can't help feeling how satisfactory it would be if he had a stroke early on Tuesday morning, say about 5am, and were physically unable to sign any pardons because his right side is paralysed for a couple of days. What would happen to those pardons them?

A mild stroke, obviously, because I want him fit to stand trial.

I think most modern courts have a very wide view of "signing".

But such a narrative is just another side of the same nonsense coin the squirrel was fiddling with.

It's very rarely the case that all X are Y, for any groups. I'm sure there are Trumpies who aren't racist; and racists who aren't Trumpie. I don't find it helpful to make too sweeping generalisations – and generally on these threads I think we try not to – because they're almost never accurate.

Meanwhile, there are indisputably some racist groups who are finding Trump a great comfort, inspiration and source of hope; and he has a history of encouraging some of them.

To be fair to Melania, she can't be seen to be doing anything in opposition to her husband. It's a bit old fashioned but she has to show a united front & support her husband at least publicly. She might not agree with him or she might well agree with him but she has to show a united front. Either that or lose her divorce settlement, she can't be expected to ear a living like the rest of us mere mortals.

Melania issues too many self-serving statements for me to have any sympathy for her any more.

And I think the infamous 'don't care' coat meant exactly what it said on the back.

And I do actually suspect that there's a reason the Trumps don't want Dr Biden to see the state of the residence.

I agree with you regarding Melania, she's probably not hosting Dr. Biden to preserve her divorce settlement afterwards.

Why would she then need a tour?
