cycling come on now. None of us claim Biden is perfect. You're the only one saying that we aren't allowed to prefer him to Trump because he isn't perfect.

What we are saying, and which is incontrovertible, is that Trump is worse.

So why don't you just come out with it and admit that you really like Trump and that you actually think Biden is worse? That would be honest.

It'll happen at about the same time that 20 and 30 are the same number. (Hint: they aren't.)

As Biden's inauguration approaches, let's remember the Scottish Sunday Herald's preview of Trump's, exactly four years ago.

My wishlist for Biden's presidency is short;

1. He addresses the Covid-19 crisis in the USA
2. He re-enters the Paris Climate Agreement
3. He never uses the word "bigly" in a press conference.

Perfection? Nope. I don't even think most of the Americans who voted for him would suggest that. But he does offer a refreshing alternative to Trump with grown-up speeches and political discourse. It could even be...civilised.

New York prosecutors conducted an hourslong interview Thursday of Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney, asking a range of questions about Trump’s business dealings, according to three people familiar with the meeting.

The interview focused in part on Trump’s relationship with Deutsche Bank, his biggest and longest standing creditor, according to the three people, who weren’t authorized to discuss the investigation and spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity.

I have a question, if anyone knows the answer. If Trump grants any pardons do they have to be announced immediately, or can he enact them but not make an announcement until after he has left office?

I saw my doc the other day - he said given the speed the vaccine is being rolled out by the federal government, and my age/health, I should expect mine late summer.

My MIL got her first dose of vaccine today. And was given an appointment to return for her second dose on what will be her 95th birthday. So pleased.

I've been hoping is that VP-elect Kamala Harris would be sworn in by one of the women justices on the Supreme Court. I just heard on CNN that she will be sworn in by Justice Sonya Sotomayor.

I am really looking forward to the inauguration, I hope it passed without too much trouble.

I'm just looking forward to having a mainstream politician again, no one thinks Biden is Jesus but what he isn't is dangerous.

I keep thinking about how I would have felt if Trump had won again!

Actually Biden has a certain advantage. He can be a mediocre President yet in comparison he will still be streets ahead better than his predecessor

Except noone does say it, where has anyone said Biden's policy caused people to been sentenced to death but what Trump is doing is worse? Can you point to anyone in all these threads having said that?

I have repeatedly said they are bad as each other, therefore I do not support either. I don't know why you somehow think you know what I think better than I do and choose to ignore the several times I have said I don't like either - is that clear enough for you?
