Im a programmes facilitator in probation, which in usual times means delivering programmes aimed st reducing reoffending to offenders who are mainly male It focuses on cognitive behavioural approaches, self control, problem solving, managing negative influences, being assertive etc. Im trained in the genersl offending programme and the drink driving one. Im soing remote training this week for the domestic violence one.

Atm its gone to over the phone delivery. So rather than doing it in grouo, it is done 1:1 over the phone. I hate it. There is so much that is lost when you can only hear s voice - no facial cues for a start. 1:1 isnt what programmea are about- its meant to be group work to allow the group to challenge each other. Its better than nothing but not in any way ideal

@justsayso - I studied law & history at uni before completing the legal practice course to become a solicitor. Ended up changing my mind and forged an initial career in Insolvency investigations; first with the civil service before moving into private sector and ended up working in the banking sector. Just about to complete my diploma in risk and compliance.

@thebear1

University Administrator.
Thebear1 - do you think you will continue to work from home when the pandemic is over. Is this a realistic option for you and your admin colleagues. I am an administrator for a children's charity and would like to work for a London University but having the option to continue WFH after the pandemic is the only pull factor for me staying where I am.
