Not going anywhere, nowt to do today

dementedma · 11/01/2021 21:34

Yes. Wear them most of the day too

RichardMarxisinnocent · 11/01/2021 21:36

@Doublefaced

Will there be someone along soon to tell us off for being slovenly slatterns? Wouldn’t be MN if not Grin
I'm imagining that those wearing pyjamas as soon as they finish work/put children to bed/all day are probably people who have numerous pairs of pyjamas, including different pairs for day and night, and change them daily, so are very much not slovenly slatterns. Pretty sure it's people like me who own limited pyjamas, don't have daytime pyjamas, only were them in bed and wear them for (whispers quietly) several nights in a row who are the slovenly slatterns.
Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese · 11/01/2021 21:36

@goteam I've just had a look at cyberjammies. Thank you, they have some lovely stuff!

whyarentiskinnyet · 11/01/2021 21:39

wear them every day on my bottom half for work seeing as people only see my top half on zoom!

MotherExtraordinaire · 11/01/2021 21:40

I'm in lounge wear. Sounds better than pyjamas lol and yes I worked in them today, including all of the video calls I had! (I have learned to lurve plain lounge wear!)

DALMATAIN101 · 11/01/2021 21:41

sure am / no t been out them in 10 days although
I have changed then daily lol

Skysblue · 11/01/2021 21:41

Well yes, but I’ve had them on for most of nine months or so.

WeatherwaxOn · 11/01/2021 21:41

But only because I've been doing an online class. I now have extra socks on (fluffy thick ones) and an ankle-length fleece. Feet are still a bit chilly.

drspouse · 11/01/2021 21:43

No but I put on leggings for a walk.

Echobelly · 11/01/2021 21:43

I tend only to wear PJs in bed or in the early morning, unless I spill something on my clothes in the evening or something! Every now and then wear in the evening if I've had an evening bath because of exercise or having otherwise got dirty or sweaty.

Mum2jenny · 11/01/2021 21:45

No, as I do not posses any pjs

Year2021 · 11/01/2021 21:46

YANBU

FamilyOfAliens · 11/01/2021 21:48

I’m shocked at how many of you don’t put actual clothes on during the day.

Maybe it’s an age thing (I’m nearly 60), but I genuinely can’t see the attraction.

JogOnTony · 11/01/2021 21:49

I get my pyjamas on as soon as I get home!

Usually get in, have a bath and straight into PJs in our house for both me and DH, doesn't matter if it's 6pm Grin

LouLou789 · 11/01/2021 21:50

Ever since the lockdown last March I have got up and dressed every single (grinding) day. But the time for shower and jamas has varied, usually 4-6pm. When I have an evening Zoom (mericfully rare) I still do the same, and wear a bra underneath for the call until the beautiful moment it finishes.
Before lockdown I would worry some intruder (sorry, visitor) would come round after jama time but I’ve felt safe from this during lockdown

Doublefaced · 11/01/2021 21:50

@Fun6665

Yes only took them off to go shopping today.
I hope you put clothes on instead.
JogOnTony · 11/01/2021 21:50

It's not a lockdown thing either for us. We've always got into PJs when we're home from work.

SapphireSeptember · 11/01/2021 21:50

For once I am not, but a t-shirt and a comfy skirt are pretty much a two-piece nightie anyway. Grin I usually am though.

NancyPickford · 11/01/2021 21:52

I did 40 minutes gentle stretching and ballet barre exercises, then had a candelit bath using Japanese bath salts with a glass (ok, two) of wine. Then into new (Christmas) fleecy pyjamas, and was on the couch by 9pm. And I care not a jot. There are no rules any more ....

CherryValanc · 11/01/2021 21:52

Sadly no, as I've been working. Admittedly from home - but still I don't like to work in my pjs. Not because I feel it's not professional but because it would ruin the pj wearing by association!!!

Just finished - will be in them shortly

EggyPegg · 11/01/2021 21:52

Yes. I went for a run at 5pm and put them on after my shower when I got back. It's rare that I'm still in clothes after about 5pm to be honest. Earlier some days. If I get my run in early and DH does the school run, it can be as early as 2pm. I'm not going anywhere and they're comfortable. I am one of those people mentioned upthread that owns many many pairs though. I don't have specific day or night ones as I usually sleep naked, but I do have favourites on a more regular rotation.

AfterSchoolWorry · 11/01/2021 21:54

Yes, of course.

I only get dressed if I have to go out. Clothes are very uncomfortable.

Notimeforaname · 11/01/2021 21:56

Pyjamas? - Loungewear, please!!
🤣

user1471538283 · 11/01/2021 21:57

When I used to work outside the home I put them on as soon as I got in unless i had planned a shower later. Now i work from home and i am in yoga pants most of the time I am still back in my pyjamas as soon as I can. 8.30pm seems late to me!
