Had my daily bath at 16.00 and straight into pyjamas!

whoamongstus · 11/01/2021 21:15

I wear my pyjamas all day because...pandemic (although I did anyway cos I WFH half the time even in non-covid times). Then some time in the evening I shower or bath and put nice clean ones on!

Norwayreally · 11/01/2021 21:15

I don’t own any. I wear a T-shirt and my undies in bed and I keep my clothes on until I have my shower...

Fun6665 · 11/01/2021 21:15

Yes only took them off to go shopping today.

QueenPawPaws · 11/01/2021 21:16

Yep, put them on about 5pm after my shower

Sparklehead · 11/01/2021 21:17

I never used to be an early pj-wearer but I now have to do so many clothes changes during the day, I’ve started to. I get up, shower, put on tracksuit to cycle to work (hospital), change at work into scrubs, sometimes change partway through the day if move between wards, change back into tracksuit to cycle home, get home, shower immediately, put on PJ’s. It took a while to get used to wearing PJ’s at dinner time but I’ve fully embraced it now.

Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese · 11/01/2021 21:17

I put clean pj's on when I got out of the shower this morning, ds and I have been playing in his room all day as dh is working from home in the living room.

HelloDulling · 11/01/2021 21:18

No. Never put them on before I go up to bed.

FedUpAtHomeTroels · 11/01/2021 21:18

I was about to go and put mine on, but I'm too lazy to climb the stairs.

Changemaname1 · 11/01/2021 21:18

It’s my day off work so iv had pjs on since I got out the shower this morning 😂

FippertyGibbett · 11/01/2021 21:18

Yep. Clean PJ’s after a nice shower.
And yes, I washed my buttocks 😉

Daisy829 · 11/01/2021 21:19

Yes. Was knackered after work. Hot bath at 6pm. Got gatecrashed by the kids then we all put our pjs on.

Dyra · 11/01/2021 21:19

YABU But only because I wasn't home from work by then. Then again, I usually put my pyjamas on after I've put LO to bed. Which is a feat rarely accomplished before 8.30pm.

Daisy829 · 11/01/2021 21:20

@FippertyGibbett 🤣🤣 I thought of that thread this morning in the shower and paid extra attention to mine

goteam · 11/01/2021 21:20

Yes. Have started having a relaxing bath (with the door shut!) at around 6 while DH plays with the kids, changing straight into pyjamas. Although as PPs have stated, normal day time clothes are pyjama like at the moment!

My evening routine in this new lockdown is bath, play with kids, dinner, kids bath and bedtime, music and reading, then TV followed by a book in bed. I kind of look forward to it as there isn't a lot else to look forward to right now!

NoOneOwnsTheRainbow · 11/01/2021 21:20

I don't own any pyjamas so... no??

Babymamaroon · 11/01/2021 21:21

100%

topcat2014 · 11/01/2021 21:21

Put them on after shower and take them off at bedtime

LadyPenelope68 · 11/01/2021 21:21

@Ewanispurple
Absolutely! Was showered with them on by 4 o'clock this afternoon
Same here! 🤣🤣

goteam · 11/01/2021 21:22

I have also bought two new lovely sets of pyjamas (Next and Cyberjammies)

FortyFiedWine · 11/01/2021 21:22

@AmoElCafe

Yep... I put mine on when the DC go to bed at 8pm ish. Routine is read them a chapter of a book, tuck them in then put my pyjamas on!
Absolute madness. PJs on before reading stories, the only comfortable way!
ChardonnaysPetDragon · 11/01/2021 21:23

Not today, I actually got dressed and travelled to the West End and put on makeup and stuff, but many a day has unapologetically been spent in pyjamas.

HeronLanyon · 11/01/2021 21:25

flibberty and daisy after this morning I’ve never scrubbed mine so well !!

Daisy829 · 11/01/2021 21:28

@HeronLanyon hilarious. It’s as if the people of mumsnet would have known if we hadn’t!

m0therofdragons · 11/01/2021 21:29

Need to walk the dog otherwise I would be.
