Piers Morgan - "I strike when they're at their weakest - when they need something to tip them over the edge"

I've just seen a number of articles where Piers Morgan has ranted and threatened revenge against a comedian slating him on a comedy show.

Piers Morgan ranting is obviously not new - but it's his pride in his vicious, openly bullying words that have got me. Paraphrased - "I bide my time, wait till they're at their weakest, until they just need something to tip them over the edge - then I strike".

What a vile, vile man. Taking pride in his ability to 'tip someone over the edge'. Into what? Despair? Suicide? Nothing good, obviously.

AIBU to think that ITV, as an employer, should reprimand him for this?

It was a comedy show James acaster was funny and Lorraine clearly took it as a joke there was no malice at all between them which was obvious to anyone who actually watched the show

Not sure about piers I thought he was tongue in cheek with his outrage and declarations about of war

A year ago he was utterly obsessed with attacking Megan

Whatever you think of Piers Morgan, the idea of waiting for the best time to seek your revenge against someone who has wronged you is normal, it's human nature.

Nonsense. What the normal, balanced individual does is toy with something like this for the fun of it, then realise that life is too short and that really the best revenge is to enjoy it and shut the person who has wronged you out for ever.

“Go Fuck Yourself” to Lorraine for expressing her opinion was pretty rude. PM is mostly tongue in cheek. He likes Lorraine personally, James Acaster could have said “oh shut up” or even “fuck off!” But weirdly “go fuck yourself” is a bit more jarring. Piers Morgan gets on perfectly well with men who have punched him in the face. He will probably let it go if he gets no mileage.

Piers is on the ropes withTrump's demise. He aligned himself so firmly to him, making a big deal that Trump only followed a few people on Twitter and he was one of them, he was his mate etc, name dropping him at every turn. He defended him vociferously, but now he is no longer any use or has been a bit too outlandish to be credible, he is backtracking, or attempting to. If Piers had power he would be exactly like Trump. Piers holds people to account whilst not holding himself to account. He broke lockdown to fly abroad, but he gave Cummings a hard time for his jaunt. He is a massive hypocrite and I hope at some point him and his ego are kicked into touch.
