Piers Morgan - "I strike when they're at their weakest - when they need something to tip them over the edge"

I've just seen a number of articles where Piers Morgan has ranted and threatened revenge against a comedian slating him on a comedy show.

Piers Morgan ranting is obviously not new - but it's his pride in his vicious, openly bullying words that have got me. Paraphrased - "I bide my time, wait till they're at their weakest, until they just need something to tip them over the edge - then I strike".

What a vile, vile man. Taking pride in his ability to 'tip someone over the edge'. Into what? Despair? Suicide? Nothing good, obviously.

AIBU to think that ITV, as an employer, should reprimand him for this?

Whatever you think of Piers Morgan, the idea of waiting for the best time to seek your revenge against someone who has wronged you is normal, it's human nature. I'm not talking about whatever the person who angered him on this occasion said, I've never even heard of them before.

Revenge done immediately in the heat of the moment without a clear head is often the wrong move - you might have misunderstood someone's motives, you might even target the wrong person.

It's better to be cold, calculating and ruthless. Like Morgan, I have a few people on my "shit list" - and it doesn't matter how long it takes to extract revenge, either I will get it in the end, they die, or I die - in each case, I win.

The Cask of Amontillado should be essential reading for all teenagers.

I thought it was people who became disaffected with Meghan and Harry because of some of their actions and behaviour - sorry, of course, I mean the "haters" - who were supposed to try to insert in all sorts of threads not the fans (or "obsessives"; bit unfair if they don't have an equally extreme epithet).

He’s an awful human being but ITV profited from the Jeremy Kyle show which was manipulative toxic tv so I doubt they will do anything. He’s also been a terrible person for decades and they still employ him.

Piers did have a bit of a vendetta against MM when you see quite how many nasty articles he wrote about her. It was daily. She turned him down when he made a play for her didn't she? He's admitted he went too far and was too personal

Did he actually go to Antigua?. After all his pontificating about people putting others at risk and yet he has travelled abroad himself. One thing I cannot bear is hypocrites, Piers Morgan realises that being a nasty bully gets you a huge following which is why he is still at GMB. However , one day his ‘luck ‘ will run out.

PM has no 'revenge' to get. He wasn't personally wronged. He's an arrogant twat who loves to dish it out but can't take it back. Lorraine Kelly is more than capable of looking after herself and I doubt she'll be rending her clothes with grief that James Acaster told her to 'go fuck yourself'. She's not a trembling, shy retiring damsel in distress requiring rescue from Piers on his White Steed Of Revenge.

Can't stand him, but why does everyone take him the seriously? His ratings aren't that high.

I LOVE James Acaster! He is very funny. ‘Started baking, has a breakdown. Bon Appetit’
He is also very open about his mental health issues and does a lot to promote it.

The Lorraine Kelly thing was a joke as Kelly was on the show swearing etc, just a joke which she seemed to take on good faith. I wouldn’t take any of this too seriously.

I watched him this morning and when in shower he really played on my mind.

Just looking at him and his actions I think he's actually having MH difficulties currently.

He cannot hear himself and how he sounds.

He spends one half hour ranting at those on SM being dangerous and they should be and then spends the next one yelling at every guest because what he thinks is right isn't happening.

He's lot all ability to reason. He wants ministers to have memorised every statistic since this pandemic began and if they can't it's like he loses all ability to retain self control.

I use to respect him and loved his life stories and serial killer series and always felt he had a natural ability to draw answers from people.

God I loathe the scorn about particular newspaper readers. That scorn has been one of the causes of Johnsons race to power. Well done though.

He definitely has a vendetta against MM and Harry. He is determined to use his platform to destroy them. Some of the things he has said has been disgusting
