Agree re mother and baby groups. Indeed the general obsession wirh 'groups' and particularly 'classes' for very young children. The compulsion, throughout childhood/parenting, to pack in masses of extra-curriculars just because, and the idea that more is better.

Candles. Air freshener with added fire hazard.

Eggs - a hen’s period
Cheese - mucousy milk dried up
High heels - too uncomfortable

People who wear jeans IN THE HOUSE. Pyjama bottoms or leggings only.

I can't think of anything less relaxing than curling up on the sofa in sodding denim. As soon as I'm home, jeans are off, bra is gone 🤷‍♀️

Pouting, enhancing all photos on Facebook which make the person really unnatural looking, very long false lashes, hair extensions, pumped up lips, fake nails, posing for selfies constantly, putting every single photo of your children/partner on Facebook, super dry jackets, gin, men with eyebrows tweezed to perfection, people buying latest expensive phones, bmw's when they can't afford it to keep up with the Jones, also painting house interior grey with silver everything- no originality at all, getting your 12 year child's hair dyed for starting high school, the hunter welly brigade/range rover mothers at the school who drive 1/2 mile to school and never walk in the countryside... I sound a right grouch today 😂

Onesies
Extreme investment in children's belef in Santa
Travel for the sake of it - to have 'done' places, to feel cosmopolitan. We're going to have to consider our destinations much more carefully in the future, with climate change looming.
Disney as a holiday
Having the TV on 'in the background'
Aversion to being out in the rain/walking places/public transport

AgeLikeWine · 03/01/2021 22:15

Social media.

I don’t get it, I don’t use it, I have no intention of using it in the future.

So-called ‘smart speakers’. A 24/7 surveillance device, listening to everything you say, monitoring everything you do and reporting the data about your life back to an unregulated, foreign-owned multinational corporation accountable only to its shareholders. And you pay for the privilege of having this thing in your home. What could possibly go wrong?

CarolinaWeeper · 03/01/2021 22:28

Cats.

They lick their bumholes, bring dead animals into your house and don't give a shit about you. Why on earth people want them as pets is beyond me.
