@IceIceLazy

People do earn over 100K (or 200K or 500K for that matter) without being fakers or fantasists. And some shock horror are also happy with their lives or have good marriages after expensive weddings.

It‘s biologically impossible to determine the sex of a fetus based on a blurry scan of a 12 week “nub“. Obviously the fake positive rate is 50% so half the time people who believe that drivel are correct.

obgyn.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/uog.2674 actually it is scientifically proven that the nub theory is true.

@OlympicProcrastinator

If you got cheated on by your husband and stayed with him, you didn’t ‘work through’ anything and you’re not ‘strong’.

You just got mugged off, behaved like a doormat and he’s lost respect for you. It’s only a matter of time before he does it again.

This!!
warmeduppizza · 04/01/2021 22:23

Cats suck.

midsomermurderess · 04/01/2021 22:26

There are some very angry people here. I'm surprised this thread is still up.

PoppiesinOctober · 04/01/2021 22:45

@pictish

Daughters in law are often selfish, petty, egotistical madams. They feel entitled to be in control of everything, imagine everyone else has to defer to them and they treat their mothers in law like shit. Mumsnet loves and supports them. I think they’re cunts.
You think everyone that's a DIL is a cunt?

Cats suck.
Shhhhhhh. They will hear👀
Icenii · 04/01/2021 23:07

Pictish is a DIL

StillCoughingandLaughing · 04/01/2021 23:59

Asking ‘Is it convenient to pop over one night this week?’ is just plain courtesy. It in no way equates to ‘having to make an appointment to see your grandchildren’.

Totally agree! No you’re not closer than ever after attending relate either!

Most of the fuss people make about getting into certain schools is more about subtle racism than they would like to admit

Gaming isn’t the end of the world , it’s not ideal but it doesn’t cause MH issues

And who said
because of the amount of faux wide eyed ‘where are the transphobic posts, OP? I’d be happy to help you report them’. No you wouldn’t - they’re everywhere

Childless adults shouldn't pay tax towards children's schooling

Aria999 · 05/01/2021 01:13

Trans people are fine and dandy and (shock horror) people too who deserve the same treatment and rights as everyone else.

Of course they are but that's not really the point. It's not the wanting the same rights and treatment as everyone else that causes a problem. It's the part of the trans agenda that's trying to rewrite the language, deconstruct and redefine everything to do with being a woman, and undo women's safe spaces that were hard fought for over the years.

I don't even know what it really means when people say trans women are women. Obviously not biologically so how are we defining 'women' here?

McDonald's is not a healthy meal choice

ChestnutStuffing · 05/01/2021 02:40

@RunningFromInsanity

I would support a military led China style lockdown if it helped get this virus under control. I believe people should be fined/arrested if they break the rules.
Shock

Do you know what kind of stuff goes on in China?!

ChestnutStuffing · 05/01/2021 02:54

And so also shouldn't be on the receiving end of the outcomes of that schooling!
ChestnutStuffing · 05/01/2021 02:55

"Childfree" reads pretty much like "womanfree" or "Indianfree".

Thamigumathacharaid · 05/01/2021 02:59

Being a teenage mum is irresponsible and the potential waste of at least two lives. Statistically, females born to teenage mums are more likely to become one themselves.

JaneJeffer · 05/01/2021 03:02

People who say being a SAHM is easy could never do it because they'd find it too hard.

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 05/01/2021 03:08

I don't think you understand the game.

I've done both. Being a SAHM is easier.

I mean litteral cavewomen could do it.....
username1909 · 05/01/2021 04:26

It's not really OK to tell women to leave their husbands based on very little information on an online forum. I've read some absolutely ridiculous posts where husbands weren't even doing anything that outrageous and everyone jumps and tells the woman she needs to leave. I think people should be a little more careful about telling someone to leave, based on quite limited information.

MangoSeason · 05/01/2021 04:40

@BlackCakeyStuff

Men look down on women for gossiping because they'd like to be a able to do it but can't do it properly. That's why they spend so much time droning on about football, cars and upgrading their hard drives.
Having spent time waiting in barbershops since having a son, I can assure you men gossip quite properly!
OrangeSlices998 · 05/01/2021 04:41

Being a SAHM is actually quite challenging. Saying it’s not is just being a dick 🤷‍♀️

username1909 · 05/01/2021 07:46

@OrangeSlices998 I'm not a sahm at the moment. I think going to work is easier and being a sahm is actually way harder than working. From my experience.
