As in 24 hours where Covid never existed. How would you use yours?

Just wondering what/who people are missing most

I'd hug my loved ones, see a film in the cinema, and eat in a restaurant. In the Maldives.

Peahead10 · 27/12/2020 22:12

Big meal out with everyone I've not been able to see.

theThreeofWeevils · 27/12/2020 22:19

A bat-sandwich picnic Xmas Grin

malificent7 · 27/12/2020 22:20

A big rave with my friends or take dd to London shopping.

NiceGerbil · 27/12/2020 22:24

Pub gig club

SendHelp30 · 27/12/2020 22:24

Shopping & cinema with DD in the day, dinner & drinks with friends in the city in the evening.

ProfMcGonigle · 27/12/2020 22:25

Mask-free shopping, cinema, dinner with cocktails

DeeDimer · 27/12/2020 22:26

Go to the city with DH all dressed up posh. Drink cocktails whilst people watching. Nice meal with wine. Pub with music for a dance, train home.

SimonJT · 27/12/2020 22:26

I would take my son to see his Grandma, we have missed her so so much.

elliejjtiny · 27/12/2020 22:26

I'd take the dc's to softplay and then give my family lots of hugs.

1Morewineplease · 27/12/2020 22:27

A swanky restaurant with my husband and two children.

Brighterthansunflowers · 27/12/2020 22:28

I would go to my mums and not stop hugging her (haven’t seen her for over a year now)

ZeroFuchsGiven · 27/12/2020 22:28

Sunday dinner in a local pub just dp and I and no kids.

Moonmelodies · 27/12/2020 22:29

Probably just a quiet day in.

Littlemilkjug · 27/12/2020 22:29

At my parents, with my sibs and their families. The kids could enjoy the garden and the company, my parents could meet my 8 month old that they've not yet held, and I could get some time talking to other adults whilst sitting down indoors - without a baby in my arms.

I want my family and I want a break from being touched or needed by one or other of my kids every few minutes Grin

Such simple pleasures...

YouBoggleMyMind · 27/12/2020 22:29

See all of my family (including extended) for a huge party. Missed out on at least 3 of these this year Sad

Pipandmum · 27/12/2020 22:30

Go out to dinner with friends (or have them at mine). We were in tier one til Boxing Day so this hadn't been out if reach, but some people are mire cautious than others.

NannyR · 27/12/2020 22:30

Hug my parents, and go to church as it used to be, with people crammed in, singing, the kids playing together in Sunday school and everyone sharing lunch together afterwards.

Heartofstrings · 27/12/2020 22:31

I'd take my kids on a play date for see their friend and I can chat with his mum who is a good friend of mine. I'd go out for lunch.

Then I'd spend the evening in bed with the guy I'm seeing with no worry of social distancing

Lolalovesroses · 27/12/2020 22:31

Really missing my mum and dad, so I'd love to go round theirs and just chill out with them. I miss normality.

grey12 · 27/12/2020 22:31

Take the kids to the playground. They miss it so much Sad

PinotAndPlaydough · 27/12/2020 22:32

I would spend the day with all of my family, my children would be able to play with their cousins. I would some how fit in a play date for both children in the afternoon because they have really missed having friends over in the house.
In the evening I would go out with friends for an amazing meal and get shitfaced on over priced cocktails.

Littlemilkjug · 27/12/2020 22:32

Oh actually hell yes to soft play! Never thought I'd say that, but my toddler would go nuts for it. Has no memory of anything pre-covid, as was too young, but now would be like "wow, this is even better than ruining mum's sofa!". My poor lounge has been soft play for too many months.

SylviasMotherSaid · 27/12/2020 22:32

Ignore my phone go to watch football and eat out after 6pm and rejoice in doing all of this with no sodding mask
