What do you have in your dining room?

We are moving house soon and will have a proper dining room for the first time (our current house has a living room/dining room rather than a whole separate room). Apart from table and chairs what else do you have in it? I feel like our table will look a bit silly if its the only thing in the room.

A dining table & 4 chairs.

A bureau with things like pens, postage stamps, table mats & the like in it.

The cat's litter tray near the back door.

Also currently by the back door is a newspaper on the floor with some muddy walking boots on it.

A clothes airer, folded - although it is usually up and being used.

A high shelf with coffee pots on it.

Oak table and 6 chairs, oak sideboard and oak cabinet containing best glassware. Central light and matching wall lights.

A wall filled with shelves full of books and objects from my travels, art on the walls and a sideboard. Plus a 1920s dressmakers dummy called Julia which belonged to my Granny.

We have an oak table and chairs with a matching sideboard. We also have two arm chairs and a pine box which is good for storage and can double up as a seat for two.

Dining table with 8 chairs, Welsh dresser, glass cabinet, bookshelf, armchair with coffee table.

Put lots of side lighting and low level dining lighting to make it feel cosy.

Pictures on the walls. Good curtains.
