We're having a solstice roast tonight (bah humbug to Christmas) and I'm in the kitchen with the radio on, drinking ginger wine with lemonade

Myself and a few friends do a drinking game with the press conferences, it makes them a lot less boring and normally by the end of them we are a little bit tipsy so couldn't give a shit till the next morning.

I'm on my third glass of wine, I'm doing the washing, cleaning, cooking and wine makes it fun. Waiting for the tuts when the husband comes home from work but least he's gtreatful that everything's done when he comes home. Then I'll have another one with him. Well it is the run up to Christmas after all. Cheers everyone 🥂

My husband makes it the second way. Personally I pour a mug of Baileys and then put a spoonful of coffee in it, maybe a wee splash of milk 😎

Pah, I started at 2:30 after getting the groceries. In my defence it's been a miserable year, I don't like shopping, and I got in to find a card from the Post Office to say I'd missed a delivery (bloody sod's law it's one of the few times I've left the house recently 🙄). But because I have to be bright and breezy tomorrow morning I had to stop at 1 pint of strong Perry ☹️ Chin chin everyone 😊

I might be late to the party but I plan to get through an epic amount of cheap Malbec tonight. Need artificially induced relaxation. Have spent the last couple hours of work shouting at my screen like a mad drunk in the park. Now need to be a real but jollier drunk. Hopefully enough cheap wine in that I won’t get onto the naice C’mas wine.

Drank half a bottle of vino since 5pm when I finished work, off to get another bottle now

I had 2 g&ts whilst making mince pies this afternoon, stopped before dinner and now on coffee. Afternoon drinking is the way forward.

I got the Christmas drinks in today but am currently on antibiotics so no drinking until I've finished them, have set alarms so I don't forget any and definitely finish the course before Christmas day!
