We have booked a holiday to St Lucia from 28 dec to 6 jan, but wondering whether we should still go ahead. What would you do?
We are in a tier 3 area if that makes a difference..
all flights and hotels refundable at the moment..

I'm feeling a bit nervous about being on a flight and catching COVID but equally I would love to go on a beach to get some sunshine!

@MotheringShites

I can’t believe you had the guts to ask this on MN! You’ll be accused of all sorts of murderous intentions.

I’m currently in Dubai and I didn’t feel the need to ask permission from the self-righteous MN STFAC brigade. I assessed the situation, it’s allowed within the rules and the Dubai tourist authority are positively welcoming visitors. I’m sipping wine looking at the sea in my swimsuit. It’s bliss.

You should go. Incidentally we were at Sugar Beach a couple of years ago for NYE. It was wonderful!

Good for you. I’m so jealous I hope you have a fab time.
