My favourite Kelly's Cornish brand has gone up to £4.10 a tub! The dc would go through a tub in 2 servings each so that's a dear do. I only get it when on offer.

What's your brand of choice? And what his our too while we are at it Grin

I love vanilla, and honeycomb. Can't stand chocolate ice cream. Cheshire Ice cream farm is probably my ultimate brand but only available at the deli down the road.

Ben & Jerry’s Phish food or Haagen Dazs praline.

MisterT373 · 20/12/2020 01:55

Carte D'Or- Chocolate Indulgence. Often on offer for £2 .

greenlynx · 20/12/2020 02:08

OP if you like vanilla you would like Aldi’s vanilla from special selected range (I think it’s the name). I love vanilla and fruity ice creams, don’t like chocolate so it’s mostly Yeo Valley for me and Haagen Dazs strawberry or mango and raspberry.

ViciousJackdaw · 20/12/2020 02:10

Jude's vanilla is sometimes £2.50 on offer at Sains so I usually buy a few for the freezer and use with hot desserts. Nuii is bloody lovely too, all flavours, but again, I wait until they are on offer and buy a few boxes.

FloraButterCookie · 20/12/2020 03:05

Ben & Jerry’s 🤤 Cookie Dough or Half Baked is my fave, but to be fair I haven’t tried any that I don’t like

bettxmascake · 20/12/2020 03:10

Morrison's Xmas gingerbread ice cream

Sick · 20/12/2020 04:01

northern bloc

delicious and so many nice flavours!

Mummadeeze · 20/12/2020 04:26

I am allergic to dairy, but have discovered B & J coconut flavoured ice cream with caramel & cookie swirls and chocolatey pieces. It is delicious and from a diet point of view, I kind of wish I didn’t know about it. New caramel and sea salt vegan magnums are also divine.

Mummadeeze · 20/12/2020 04:27

Sorry, meant to say the B and J is vegan too

torquewench · 20/12/2020 04:53

My favourite was Hagen Dazs' Baileys. Discontinued years ago 😭

But I only have icecream when im on holiday nowadays, so it's Davisons, and whatever flavour takes my fancy😁 🇮🇲

SingANewSongChickenTikka · 20/12/2020 06:44

There’s an ice cream company local to me (Norfolk) that makes incredible ice cream. Loads of flavours that I’m working my way through but my favourite at the moment is mince pie.

Callcat · 20/12/2020 06:56

Singanewsonchickentikka GG's?!

Callcat · 20/12/2020 06:57

Ignore me, I missed that you're in Norfolk.

Elsielouise13 · 20/12/2020 07:00

Kelly’s.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 20/12/2020 07:00

I buy from a local dairy farm. The best ice cream I've ever had but it's not cheap! They have over 50 flavours, my favourite is amaretto and black cherry, mmmm

Purpletoes · 20/12/2020 07:05

We always have a tub of sainsburys clotted cream icecream in the fridge which is cheaper than Kelly's.

During the summer I had some judes green apple sorbet which was amazing.

mintyneb · 20/12/2020 07:07

Swedish glace vanilla

Hellokittymania · 20/12/2020 07:07

I bought the chocolate orange Coronados for Christmas, but I haven’t tried them yet. Usually, I really like magnum, the little ice cream is on the sticks. Like all of them, the white chocolate, the Razzberry, the coffee, the mint, I don’t like nuts though. Not in the actual iIthe flavor, just not pieces of almonds or anything. I think they also did a peanut butter one on a stick which was nice. I like the Coronado salted caramel i’m sorry, I’m using dictation and it’s not writing all the words correctly. But I mean those ice cream cones oh, and I like flake

TheClitterati · 20/12/2020 07:14

Ice cream is my favourite sweet thing but I find commercial/supermarket Ice cream available in The UK so disappointing. I sometimes buy the Cornish one. I just don't see much proper ice cream available.

I will buy Hargen Das or Ben & Jerry's but usually only when it's on offer. Big tub brands here are dreadful & I'm not sure they would qualify as ice cream in any other country.

We have a fantastic Italian gelaterie in our town. It's seasonal but when it's open (for half the year) we tend to consume most of our ice cream from there.

I'd love an ice cream maker.

LadyCatStark · 20/12/2020 07:23

Aldi’s for everyday ice cream (not the we eat it everyday) or if we have it with another pudding.

A local brand called Wallings for a fancy desert on its own. That’s over a fiver a tub though!

rottiemum88 · 20/12/2020 07:23

@Iamnotminterested

Coconut ice-cream, any brand from any shop Grin
Me too! Grin
sueelleker · 20/12/2020 08:22

I remember a choc-ice from the 70's called Coconut Nice. That was gorgeous.

naturalyoghurtmuncher · 20/12/2020 13:48

We occasionally buy vanilla or summer berry Haagen daz( or salted caramel/ strawberry cheesecake) Nothing else really

SilverOtter · 20/12/2020 14:04

I hardly ever eat ice cream, but it has to be either Haagen Dazs Belgian Chocolate or B&J Cookie Dough😋

Alicesweewonders · 20/12/2020 17:43

The nicest ice-cream I've ever tasted was Movenpick ice cream, I could only get it in a few restaurantsSad
