I was a little concerned that the Lincoln Project may have put undue pressure on Pence which could lead to undesired outcomes - we all know what rats do in a trap. But it's likely his loyal team mates would have turned on him sooner or later.

It would be interesting to know what, constitutionally, would happen if he did just refuse to read out the results, or even read out "alternative results". But so much better for it not to be tested.

It sounded oddly familiar to me. Then I remembered an old beef producer's association ad tagline: "Beef, it's what's for dinner".

I can see the similarities between Scrotus and a big slab of meat. To start with they both have the same IQ and they both get rotten real quick.

Yes, I can! It's a take on "Bonaparte's retreat", which is a fiddle tune from 1800 or longer ago, and it was lifted by Aaron Copland for "Hoe-Down" in Rodeo, via William Hamilton Stepp: archive.org/details/podcast_american-fiddle-tunes_bonapartes-retreat_1000369986838

In fact I think there's the exact thing that's been used, on YouTube somewhere (rummage rummage) about 40 seconds in.

OK, OK. I finally listened to the ad with the sound on. I normally mute any sound on Trump related crap.

It really IS the old 'beef for dinner' ad retooled for Trump. It's the same music (Aaron Copelands 'Hoe Down', based on Bonaparte's Retreat). No wonder the ending two shots "Trump" and "He's what's for America" rang a bell!!

Bwah ha ha ha ha!!! From 'meat' retooled for a 'meat head'!!
