Something 'useful'.

I'm stuck for ideas!

Watching with interest, Dh and I have the same problem.

BessieSurtees · 26/11/2020 21:57

£50 each or £50 total.

Laiste · 26/11/2020 21:58

We need a new kettle so probably that.
Otherwise maybe some plants for the garden.
Not very exciting.

Ihatesandwiches · 26/11/2020 22:02

Normally vouchers for a meal out. At the moment, vouchers for our fav takeaway. Or an amazon gift card we could share.

BumpLoading · 26/11/2020 22:04

Vouchers for a meal out or a subscription to Netflix or Disney or something similar?

BertieBotts · 26/11/2020 22:05

An air fryer as DH keeps going on about them.

Or a steam cleaner.

Or an ikea voucher

Batfinklestein · 26/11/2020 22:05

I’d go with this because DH and I would both use it and it’s lovely:

Mumto3thatsme · 26/11/2020 22:10

A welly rack 😂 really not exciting but much needed

Notanothernamechanged101 · 26/11/2020 22:11

I actually want this double laundry cabinet so maybe a contribution towards it.

I do need new towels so I could ask for some

Matching mugs, we have a random collection of odd stuff & I wouldn’t bother replacing them myself

I want a new washable hall runner so I have one to put down when one is in the machine.

All really boring stuff I wouldn’t want to spend money on myself, but I’ve just happily spent £25 on a candle.

We don't need anything but we love board games, so maybe a new one of those? I don't like stuff I don't need really, and I think it's quite tricky to buy useful stuff as tastes vary so much. Not much help, sorry.
Oh, I know. A premier Inn for the night, adult time away from the teenagers Wink Grin

bravotango · 26/11/2020 22:21

A new set of bedding and a bed tray (literally the best thing ever)
2 nice/interesting/colourful cushions for our sofa
Big house plant

More useful:
Decent kitchen knife
Food processor
IKEA voucher
Stainless steel pan (Fissler if in a sale)

toomuchfaster · 26/11/2020 22:25

I have this too. Possibly some new bed linen, but I can't care right now. The last joint present we had was a slow cooker that DH requested. He has never used it and I only dust it occasionally!

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 26/11/2020 22:25

A soda stream. Dh has finally started to enjoy fizzy water And they are reduced to 49.99
