To think there is nothing special about Moulton Brown.

My friend often buys their shower gel for me as a gift. And although it's lovely, I can't help think he's being ripped off. I can't tell any difference between that and Baylis and Harding. Or am I missing something?!

It’s Molton Brown.

Is it the stuff Bayliss and Harding are trying to be? Never really understood the fuss to be honest. I hate any smellies as presents.

I really like their black pepper body wash. I haven’t found anything remotely similar in scent.

Probably is a bit style over substance like a lot of things, but it makes a lovely gift.

It’s amazing. I have mega sensitive skin and it’s the only thing I can use. The scents are lovely but subtle and a teeny drops goes a long way. A bottle lasts me over 3montha and I shower twice a day cos I execrcise hard.

I love their stuff tbh. Don't get it often as is pricey. Horses for courses 🤷‍♀️

If it’s spelt Moulton on the bottle maybe it’s a knock off, hence not being able to tell the difference between proper MB and B&H!
Personally I’m a big MB fan.
But as a PP said, it’s horses for courses. If you don’t like it tell your friend you’d prefer B&H and I’m sure he’d be happy to oblige.

I disagree - the quality is fantastic. I've got nothing against Baylis and Harding and buy their stuff fairly regularly as it smells nice and does the job of cleaning me, but Molton Brown lathers incredibly and a bottle of their shower gel lasts me several times as long as a bigger bottle of Baylis and Harding or any other shower gel I've tried does. It's the one luxury shower gel I find worth the money (though I still can't bring myself to buy it just for me, and have only had it as gifts).

I love MB. The scent of the body wash stays on my skin all day and means I don’t use perfume as well.

I like it.

B&H on the other hand is dreadful.

There is a huge difference in the quality. Molton Brown Gingerlily is divine and the scent lasts ages.

I love the Molten Brown outlet store.
Much cheaper and have great offers.
Makes me feel less guilty about buying it.

I also have a diffuser that I bought 2 years ago that’s still going. Yes, the outlay was high but value for money has been great.

I love MB. The scent lasts for ages. B&ah just smells cheap. Which is fine, but YABU to say there’s no difference.

I hate B and H. Its always globby and smells of nothing. I hope MB is better

I find MB very drying so don't use it anymore. Have switched to Clarins tonica.

It smells nice. It doens't bring me or DH out in hives. It smells nice.

I think MB is what all the BandHs are trying to be - and failing at!

I still have some of last year's gift box left. It still smells noce

Molton Brown is lovely and always features in our Christmas present buying. Usually for my husband.

I love it! Always thought it was overrated until a friend gave me a tiny travel rose scented body wash. It lasted ages and smelt so gorgeous!

You could compare Molton Brown to any product line. The only thing it has in common with B&H is the packaging.

B&H gives me very bad eczema.

A bottle lasts forever and the scent lasts for ages. Sometimes people ask me what I'm wearing and I have to go er...shower gel

You can't compare B&H and MB either, they aren't really in the same ballpark.

If this were cars B&H would be a Honda Jazz and MB a BMW.

The MB room spray is also out of this world.

I find it very underwhelming. I’d never waste my money on it. At least with Baylis &Harding you’ve not spent much when it’s underwhelming!

I spent a very long time thinking that Baylis and Harding was the name of Aldi's own brand (which we know are often very good). Apparently it is very much not....
