Just that....

I'm a keen cook who loves experimenting but havent yet done vegan puds... so would love a handful of recipes to try, and I'll choose my favourites for Christmas!

You’ll need to use a vegan butter alternative or I think I used coconut oil. I also did some caramelised nut praline on top for texture.

Not sure it would count as a dessert as such but this cake is bloody good

There are some delicious raw vegan cheesecake recipes out there. They use cashews
I made a lemon one a few months ago. It was amazing.

You can do different berry layered ones. They look so good. A real visual and taste treat.

(You're vegan guest is very lucky that you want to make a dessert they can eat)

My son and DPs DIL are both vegan so last year I made a chocolate fudge cake which went down well. Probably doing the same this year with vegan ice cream.

Good old crumble- apple and raisin with some Christmas spices! With vegan custard Or elm lea double plant that you can whip! Yummy!

I saw a recipe on tv that used tofu for a cheesecake mix with vegan chocolate and sugar etc.

Also, my personal favourite, cinnamon swirls. Shop bought puff pastry is usually vegan. Fill with vegan marg, sugar and cinnamon and roll and slice then bake. Cover in runny icing.

I’d make baklava for after a big Christmas meal, but that’s not very traditional!

I’ve got a vegan chocolate tart recipe that I got from River Cottage - I think the woman who made it was called Laura Coxeter. Delicious.

Domestic Gothess is the website you want. Absolutely GORGEOUS vegan recipes that are ONLY vegan, not healthy or nut/gluten/soy free. I found that was the main problem with most recipes- the are vegan AND gluten soy or nut free. I made my sister-in-law her vegan strawberry tart, and she said it was the best vegan homemade pudding she had ever had.

A jar of Nutella 😉or a crumble with vegan butter. Apple or pear with cinnamon.

You can make vegan Christmas pudding quite easily by replacing the egg with aquafaba, they don't last as long as normal Christmas puddings but cook well.

Pineapple and ginger crumble with a dark chocolate chilli sauce.

I've made a vegan chocolate mousse with silken tofu which is delicious and loved by vegans and non vegans. It's easy to find online.
