Are they just relaxing restrictions on pubs or are we totally coming out of lockdown?

I think non-essential shops will re-open, not sure about other restrictions. London and somewhere in the south no doubt will be in tier 2 so as to avoid accusations of southern bias. When I looked at the figures on Friday, seemed that the area around Margate and that around Sittingbourne had levels that could be tier 3.

God knows - IMO they ought to keep as is from now until after Christmas, although 10s of millions of people are going to ignore any restrictions during the Christmas week anyway.

Perhaps it's time for the government to say "If you're concerned about people catching covid, and the NHS ability to cope with it, stay indoors. If you're not, do what you like".

I really hope so. I want to book a flight to Germany to meet family.

We were tier 3 before, now something like 120th in the country in terms of rate per 100,000 and below the national average. I'm betting we still go back into tier 3. I don't think anywhere will be in a lower tier than pre "lockdown", but many places will be in a higher.
