I can’t believe PM has backed Patel! When she’s been found to be a bully I’m bloody furious!!!

This isn't just the HO it's every department she's been associated with! She has form for breaking the ministerial code. Not knowing is no excuse, she should be well aware of the code having already broken it.
You don't defend people who do things like this due to race/sex/gender.
I look forward to school bullies using these arguments/excuses in the coming weeks.

I am willing to believe that people have a lower tolerance for women (particularly women from an Asian background) being aggressive and bullying, and that that’s been a factor in this coming to light.

I recognise that the HO senior leadership has not come out of this smelling of roses.

It is categorically not true that all ministers behave as she acknowledges she did, shouting and swearing at her staff.

It is farcical that her defence is that she ‘didn’t know’.

I’m not surprised he’s backed her but I do think it’s shocking. Again.
