to ask how many people you've snogged?

inspired by a response in my earlier thread about being bored of snogging I was surprised that I seemed to have had very few compared to others? For me its 8 -5 boys and 3 girls I thought that was an average amount but apparently not. if its not TMI what about you?

I reckon this boils down to what you did in your late teens, not the age you are now.
At uni, there were some nights I'd snog 20 or so blokes. I remember a Valentine's Day bash where all the girls got a number and all the boys got a number and you were supposed to find your number for a snog. I ended up with stacks of numbers off my coupled up friends. But normally, at least a few each week.

Literally no idea. I lost count when I was maybe 16. I'll go with the good Scottish estimate of "hunners".

Not even sure I could number the people I've slept with.

Just the one. First kissed him when I was 42. Do I win?

I'm in the too many to count bracket too. I thought it was normal that most people wouldn't be able to count how many people they have snogged. It hardly ever meant anything for me, just random kisses with random people.

when my friends and I were drunk on a night out we ended up all kissing one another for fun(and to tease the boys) which quickly became proper snogs with tongue and we never did it again
that's the closest I've come to a quick snog in on a night out.

Just last year I snogged two men in one night and I'm in my 40's. Those were the days
Shocked people can keep count, I'd be able to give a better estimate of how many times I'd ever blinked.

Lots when younger as others have said going out fri/ sat nights often ended up with some random , plus girls holidays etc

I have no clue... 6 girls and maybe 100 guys? I'm 43 and was in a relationship from 22 to 42, though. If I'd been single longer, it would have been the thousands I'm sure.

Not sure confidence has much to do with it, more the excessive amounts of alcohol I used to drink on nights out! Don't think I have kissed a random guy for over 5 years now, and just dawned on me that I might never "snog" someone new again . Not much chance of anyone pulling a random in 2020 anyway!

Hundreds. Blokes at school and in the student union, proper boyfriends, a couple of girls. Just my DP for the last ten years though!

I've obviously never kissed a stranger on a night out. I'm shy, and having managed to leave school and then university without having had a boyfriend I never had the confidence to try to kiss a stranger - I assumed I must be unattractive to men.
I also mostly didn't go on loads of nights out when I was younger, but even in the odd period when I did nobody appeared to be interested in snogging me.

I'd say about 10-15

Hundreds probably, but I was a teenager in the '80s, in the days before social media and camera phones, so it was excellent fun...you did daft things then denied it all the next day if necessary! Had a fabulous time and filled my boots!
But been with dh for almost 31 years now and in all that time it's only ever been him, and only ever will be x

Didn't do the whole clubbing/partying thing as a teen and been with DH since 19. In our 40s now.

Loads, 100s! I snogged about 20 randomers one Hogmanay in Edinburgh in the mid 90s. Happy days

God no idea. Can’t remember the amount of people I’ve shagged either. Must be over 100 snogs. Fairly liberal 20’s, friends with hippy types, we’re a tactile bunch on the whole.

No clue. Well over a hundred. Probably well over 200, possibly more.

Gosh it never even crossed my mind that people would be able to recount the number of snogs they had. Definitely mine are in the hundreds.

I'm not sure how old you are OP, but it was a bit of a running joke in the mid-90s that it would get to a certain number of drinks and the straight girls would be snogging eachother. Lots of it was in a "oh look how cool we are" kind of way. Lots of it was sadly for attention from the boys. And lots of it would have been genuine curiosity. I would be hugely surprised if any of my straight female friends hadn't snogged a girl in their youth!
