inspired by a response in my earlier thread about being bored of snogging I was surprised that I seemed to have had very few compared to others? For me its 8 -5 boys and 3 girls I thought that was an average amount but apparently not. if its not TMI what about you?

Loads. Hundreds. Too many to remember. I have a large and very tactile social group and we all enjoy a good kiss with each other now and again and I’m still a big fan of kissing strangers in nightclubs and at festivals.

Like sexual partners, I don’t think there’s an “average”, is there. If you are naturally quite reserved you’ll probably have kissed fewer people than those who are more open and go with the flow. If you think proper kissing with tongues should only be for romantic partners or people you really fancy then you’ll have kissed fewer people than somebody like me for whom it’s more a really enjoyable sexy bonding thing.

Yes OP. It’s people. Think about it this way. If you were single for about 1/2 the years between 15 & 30, then that’s 7.5 years of random snogging. Then in that time you snog one person every 2 weeks. That’s 25 people per year. Multiply by 7.5. Gives you 186 people. That’s a rough way of estimating. 🤷🏻‍♀️😘

Definitely well into the 100s. Like @HollaHolla said, in my younger days it wasn’t a night out without snogging someone. And I’d often go out 3-4 times a week. Great fun. Haven’t snogged anyone other than DH for 18 years now.

I used to to love getting off with people in night clubs, so once a week ish for 4 ish years somewhere between 100 and 200? Not much of a shagger but a good snog was part of a night out for me 20 years ago.

I've always gone for quality over quantity, so I think only about 20. That doesnt seem very high, considering the men I've encountered seem to take a pride in being good at it, and rightly so.

Lol, absolutely no idea. Slept with somewhere about 70 or 80 I think; so definitely snogged hundreds. And probably hundreds. And I don’t think that’s particularly unusual or spectacular if you’ve spent any significant time single and free in your 20s/30s like I did backpacking/travelling and recreational dating in a big city. I am probably older than you OP and have had happy LTRs too. Not planning on snogging anyone apart from DP now.
