OP if you’re of a child bearing age you may want to ask before surgery if they’re able to harvest any of your eggs if your ovary is damaged. They thought I’d lost both my ovaries when the same thing happened but miraculously they were both saved and ok. Hope all goes well Flowers

Oh and the relief afterwards was immediate with a very quick recovery time so hope it’s the same for you.

@WhatWouldYouDoWhatWouldJesusDo I'm so glad you're feeling better! I've had pancreatitis five times and discovered is due to two genetic mutations in my dna. OP best of luck in your recovery

Hope the surgery went well!

EKGEMS thank you. Flowers

It's the second time I've been hospitalised with it, it was caused by gallstones which I've ignored for years 🙄 This second incident has given me a huge, wake up call regarding looking after my health. My mum also died with Pancreatic cancer....,..I found it very distressing going through the same pain she had in the run up to her illness.

I can't imagine going through it 5 times tho. The pain is horrific and the first time in my life I've phoned an ambulance
