As I said above, majority of the viewers know it’s fake, BUT it portrays itself as being real, and using alcoholism as a storyline is insulting to this who have experienced true alcoholism.

Actually you said 'half fake', and as for 'portraying it's as real', I'm pretty sure that's what people who fell for the idea The Office was real when first broadcast said. Again it's ridiculous to moan about it doing an alcohol storyline when plenty of other scripted shows do the same. But I guess there's no point explaining that to people that want to believe its in anyway real.

The producers manipulate behind the scenes. They will give two people a place to meet but then give each person a different time so one person is late.
Or they take a person to one side and remind them of a perceived slight or introduce a subject which they know will cause rumblings.
It’s like a puppet show but the puppets are really muppets who just happen to be wealthy.

Nope, just know what happens behind the scenes. I knew someone who edited these type of shows. Everyone involved knows the deal, if you chose to believe otherwise then its all on you.

Actually, believing the women are being played with mind games and alcohol is pretty sick, why would anyone be complicit (even just as a viewer) in that sort of misogyny?
