Has anyone had what they thought was periods during pregnancy ????
I haven’t been well recently, suppose you could say pregnancy symptoms. My issue is we haven’t actually done the deed in months and I have had what I thought was periods. I have been vomiting a lot/ been bloating and sorry for the tmi but piles came back ( haven’t had them since second pregnancy 7 years ago )
I just took a test this afternoon which has come up as a very clear positive, took another and the same result.
I am so confused right now. I will book an appointment with doctor of course but I’m in completely freak out mode.
It defo wouldn’t be planned I have 2 DC 13 and nearly 7.
Partner and I have been friends for a very very very long time but only started dating 11 months ago.
I don’t know what I am actually asking 🤣

Oooh exciting. I found our I was pregnant with dd when I was already almost 3m. I was on the pill and had periods....same symptoms. Bloating etc.

Yes a friend’s daughter in law went for her scan and thought she was 12 weeks but she was actually 22 weeks! Her weight didn’t change and she had been getting periods and thought she had only missed one! Congratulations!

How did it go??? Overly invested in this how scenario now.

I was a "surprise" baby. My mum was on the pill and her only symptom was what she thought was a stomach bug that lasted a week. It was only when she went to the gp because she thought that she might have appendicitis. Nope, she was 14(ish) weeks pregnant

Congrats OP! I’m 24 weeks and bump looks very similar! Can you try and feel the baby move?

How exciting. Much like a PP my Mum had no idea she was pregnant until 8 months and it was only as a joke that she tested (I wanted a positive to keep and there were 2 in the pack) as she thought the symptoms she had were early menopause - my son and my brother were born exactly 12 weeks apart!

Totally outed myself if anyone reads this and knows me and my mum and my sons initials but oh well 😂

Congratulations 🥳 I was working with a colleague in September who 100% did not suspect she was pregnant. She woke up the morning after I worked with her with severe abdominal pain and gave birth within 20 mins ...so yes she did have periods throughout. She has now just about recovered from the shock 😳😊

I was 20 weeks before I 'noticed' one of mine (not the first either) - it is surprisingly common to find out much later.

I'm guessing you conceived in April!

Op that is lovely news. I can't believe you've not got long process this but how exciting!!
I guess the next question is will you live with your partner, is that possible 😬 ... I'm asking because I think I might be pregnant (I'm nowhere near sure and it's very early!) but I live alone, have been with my partner for a year but no plans to move in. We both live in one bedroom flats. I have no idea what I'd do if I am pregnant!

I'm so glad it went well with him and he didn't catch his train home!

Ha, I'm not sure how the GP is going to assess you for pregnancy over the phone, but hopefully they'll sort out a scan for you ASAP!

Haha I remember irrationally laughing when I found out I was having a multiple pregnancy 😂. It was a big shock to the system and not what I had initially been “planning” but yet I walked round with an inane grin on my face for ages and laughed irrationally at random moments.

Eek! Hope the dr gets a scan arranged ASAP
