Has anyone had what they thought was periods during pregnancy ????
I haven’t been well recently, suppose you could say pregnancy symptoms. My issue is we haven’t actually done the deed in months and I have had what I thought was periods. I have been vomiting a lot/ been bloating and sorry for the tmi but piles came back ( haven’t had them since second pregnancy 7 years ago )
I just took a test this afternoon which has come up as a very clear positive, took another and the same result.
I am so confused right now. I will book an appointment with doctor of course but I’m in completely freak out mode.
It defo wouldn’t be planned I have 2 DC 13 and nearly 7.
Partner and I have been friends for a very very very long time but only started dating 11 months ago.
I don’t know what I am actually asking 🤣

DP not saying anything useful sorry! Other than he also thinks you should just go for it and tell him.

Bettina500 · 11/11/2020 22:40

If you want to try and feel your uterus, lay on your back, then feel with the flat of your hand from your chest bone down. It should feel soft at first, then keep moving down until -if you're pregnant - you feel an edge then firmness. That will be your uterus. If you're under 12 weeks it will still be below your public bone though

Bettina500 · 11/11/2020 22:41

Sorry *pubic bone!!

polkadotpjs · 11/11/2020 22:48

I think you should tell him tonight... and that's not just because I want to know his reaction tonight 😂😬

Newschapter · 11/11/2020 22:51

Hope all goes well for you @Whattheactual20201 and the outcome is whatever you hope it will be Flowers

Blueuggboots · 11/11/2020 22:53

I can't see the photo????!!!

Blueuggboots · 11/11/2020 22:56

I hadn't scrolled back far enough!! Yup, looks pregnant to me.....I looked like that at about 28 weeks??

yelyah22 · 11/11/2020 22:57

This is the most exciting thread in ages! Congratulations OP, tell him tonight! ❤️

Blueuggboots · 11/11/2020 22:58

January.......We're all waiting for a update!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻😎😎

DeRigueurMortis · 11/11/2020 23:02

I'd agree with telling him tonight.

If you don't when are you going to tell him and what reason would you give as to why you delayed?

At least this way you don't need to worry for ages about what his reaction will be - you'll know and can plan accordingly.

If it's positive (which I hope it is) then you can both share the excitement of finding out your due date.

Congratulations Thanks

Ifonlyicouldliveinmypjs · 11/11/2020 23:04

Oh wow - how exciting!!! I agree, I think you might well be expecting a January baby. Congratulations! I hope it goes well if you decide to tell him tonight.

All is well ! He is now having a bath as he is mucky from work but he seems happy :) thank you.

About the laxatives he 100 percent did tell me to try them.
Then again when the piles appeared to see whether going a toilet more would ease the piles. 🙈

I was never seen as there has been more phone appointments than face to face.

Anyway thank you for those who just let me have some where to vent / laugh.

Duemarch2021 · 12/11/2020 00:26

Oh goodness bless you! I mean... if youve done tests then yes sounds like youre pregnant!!! Unless you are on any medications that give u the pregnancy hormone?.. i dont mean to worry you bit you sound like you may be a few months by now!? ....

Miip · 12/11/2020 00:30

I'm going for due in January.

Duemarch2021 · 12/11/2020 00:34

@pinkpetal2

This happened to my mum and sister! ... my mum was 40 when she had me and my sister was 22 when she had my nephew. There was 6 month gap between us so i became an auntie at 6 months old 😂 we grew up together and it was nice but were not as close now unfortunately

Duemarch2021 · 12/11/2020 00:43

This is sooo exciting!!! Im currently 23 weeks and my bump looks similar to yours.. i reckon you are about the same as me... (conceived in june) does that sound about right for you?? Can you feel kicking!??!

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 12/11/2020 01:12

Well I think it's entirely possible that it was April that it happened - you seem to have had symptoms in June that would fit, and ongoing "bloating" which has increased in the last 6 weeks. But if we ignore the June "symptoms", then I suppose you could have just blown up fast since August, but your belly looks too big to be 3m pregnant, so I'm going with the 7m instead.

Glad that your BF is happy about it, that must be a huge relief. Now you need to get yourself a doc appt and go and get a scan!!
